dirk's 2011 playoff run is the best and most inspiring I've ever seen, and I grew up watching basketball throughout the 80's 90's 2000's. To me it's the greatest playoff performance of all time.

@thenintendogamer If you're going to compare in general terms, overall career, then no. No player is comparable to Jordan. But I do believe that in single game performances, or even a playoff series, a player can perform Jordan-esque plays. I think Dirk's 2011 playoff run warrants it.

You can compare him to Jordan for what he did in the playoffs last season(but he didn't have Pippen(21 ppg, 7.7 rebounds, 7 assists), Horace Grant(14.2 ppg, 10 rpg), Armstrong(14.6 ppg shooting 49 percent and 45 percent from 3) or later on Pippen, Kukoc(sixth man of the year, only year starting had 19 ppg, 7 rpg, dishing 5.3 dimes as well)and Rodman(2 time champion and former 2 time all-star who led the league in rebounding. Who had more help?

I'd say he had a good amount of help, and I see the analogy but it's not a comparison.
