when u say "puree" did u take it out of the pot and put it into a blender? do u wait for it to cool because i thought if u put anything warm into a blender it will explode.
@sweetreview No honey, you need to use an immersion blender. It looks like a little boat motor. It's a handheld blender that you just stick inside the soup to puree it.
@sweetreview When you put hot veg in the blender, don't hold the blend button down.
Tap the chop button shortly , wait a second or two, then hit the chop button again shortly. If you add hot stock , don't put more than half ways up. Once the hot veg is chopped up , then take a towel, hold over the top of the blender and hold firmly so not too much stuff seeps out. Then press the blend button. The exploding blender is due to the lack of common sense and hold the button down at the beginning.
