  • the ld175 is 175 watts with a 18" sub and 3"horn

  • i have the bigger version the ld175 and thats all the amp you need its got more effects than the 110 and it has preset save banks plus and envelope filter, octave drop, and chorus,it also has a xlr output to hookup to a p.a.with ground lift switch,i luv it its the best amp ive ever used and ill never ever use anything else again.oh and did i mention it has a switchable on/off horn? very badass

  • sorry for my bad english:

i like when people use a different approach to play. music is one of the few places in which imagination is still free. why should i be forced to play as everybody does it? he's having fun, and i think this video is nice. i want to make a question: if the same riff purposed by sif1 would be played by a famous bassplayer which have would been the reaction? maybe the same people that criticized him would have jerkin off

  • He's playing a Bass GUITAR.

  • hey u no your playing a bass right ?

  • this makes my ears wanna run away.

  • That is a good pedal. You can get it without getting the amp. I just bought one for $120. its awesome.

  • aweful !!!!!!!!!

  • 75w. 1x10" speaker

  • I love the effects man!

I need to get that peddle!

  • wow dude that got annoying it was good at first but the, yeah. change it up a little. but i dont know im a guitarist and have a bit of a different ear to music. wat do u think?

  • I know those sundays all to well man lol. keep it up man. Its not the mistakes, but the joy of music. Play not to impress, but for the love of the passion. This makes a real musician who plays from the heart as opposed to fad. Keep it up man.

  • Is it a guitar amplifier?

  • no, this is actually a bass amplifier...

  • and also a bass Zoom pedal... so it makes a kit designed for the bass...

that's really the intent of this video, to encourage myself and perhaps other bass players to go further on exploring the sound possibilities with the bass.

  • what a?

  • forget what all these close minded idiots say... good music is good music!

and if you wanna get all factual about it, then its logically impossible to play GUITAR music on a BASS

its just in the same range

    haha

  • Playing nothing but high notes while strumming with a pick, and on a 6 string aswell. You're a guitarist trying to call yourself a bassist.

  • if it was a GUITAR, then indeed he would be.

  • I love asian girls too,but pretty much this is like a regular electric guitar customed for really fat fingers.I'm not looking for a fight by the way,I just wanted to say fat fingers and that I love asians too.

  • nicely done my good man, and im going to give you the benefit of a doubt and assume youre a player too.

that being said, from one bassist to another, i respect your opinion, and although i kno you dont want to hear mine:

he might not be playing in the bass range, but my slight OCD dictates that i take the minor detail of it being a BASS to further my point. i cant tell you how annoyed i got when sum1 shouted "its a starter guitar!" when i was playing a 6 string bass.

    :P

    sorry, OCD :/

  • great work!

I'm a guitarist that always looked curiously on bass, always wanted to go low. So, as a guitarist I tried many baritone tunings, etc - but it's still not this.

To tell the truth, I always loved bass, I always found them much more interesting than guitar.

BUT! I always hated the way u usally play bass and extremely hate sound of slapping, etc.

Guess I'll probably become bass vi player in the end ;) Love the sound and mix of everything that I find great about both bass and guitar :)

  • Not a fan :/ to much effect for my taste.

  • yes, perhaps i should sell my bass, and perhaps you should open you mind too

  • perhaps you should open you mind fellow, there are great possibilities of sounds with the bass, not only for guitar. The bass is not a limited limited instrument at all.

  • hey if you could help me out that would be great i have the same amp and i was wondering how you get that zoom pedal in i dont see a efects line out if you could tell me i would be very thankful thanks man

  • plug a cord into the input on the amp run that to the input on the zoom run a cord from the zoom output to the bass. whichever hole turns the pedal on when u plug a cord into is the one u want to run into ur bass

  • thanks you saved me from buying a preamp

  • It´s actually the opposite: plug Input in the Amp with Output of the zoom, and plug the bass to the input of the zoom.

  • dude mines an LD150, same thing only bigger, what did u have the knobs set for (approximate positions)

  • I used option GRIND, with gain at 80% and with EQ knobs flat.

  • tnx very much!

  • what kind of amp is that and what kind of bass is that and how many strings does it have?

  • this amp is a Line 6, which contains the distortion integrated (grind). The bass is a MusicMan StingRay 5, so 5 strings, standar gauge 0.45 and tunned to standard GDAM.

  • GDAM?

  • cool ~!

  • tnx!

  • thats pretty sweet man

what are the effects set to?

  • hi, the distortion comes from the amp. there are 4 presets of sound (clean, blues, etc and grind), for is clip I used Grind with the gain almost at the max. The rest of the effects comes from the Pedal - I used a effect called Vintage which I like much. It takes some flanger, chorus and eco.
