Great commercial but I don't like how Anheuser Bush attached their name to the concept. You can't just attach your name to America or Soldiers and expect people to buy it. It just rubs me the wrong way. Maybe if it was a little more subtle, I would have bought it.
Around the time we first sent troops to Afghanistan after 9/11, I went to see a movie and one of the previews was the typical "WE ARE MARINES" commercials we always see and usually think little of. But that day, the theater got quiet as the commercial played and was followed by applause. It was in that moment I learned how better we all are as a people if we stood together and helped/respected our neighbor and fellow man. It was a good day and I remember it clearly.

My dad was a WWII vet, fought in the invasion of Normandy on D-day and he always told me that when he came home from the war he was treated with such love and respect. I've been to both Iraq and Afghanistan multiple times. Iraq is a done deal, we've already won. The battle is next-to-nothing, and the only thing we're waiting for is the Iraqi military and their police forces to get on-par with what exactly they need.

@candr How unacceptable that was - all of our Nam vets went through such horror when they came home. You were deserving of the best of the best from our country. My dad was a WWII vet, fought in the invasion of Normandy on D-day and he always told me that when he came home from the war he was treated with such love and respect. Each and every one of our veterans from every war are America's heroes in my eyes.

We went to Iraq, because they called for us to help them fight against these same types (Taliban included) of extremists that oppressed them from having a good democracy.

I've been to both Iraq and Afghanistan multiple times. Iraq is a done deal, we've already won. The battle is next-to-nothing, and the only thing we're waiting for is the Iraqi military and their police forces to get on-par with what exactly they need.
We will get results. If we pull out, I can guarantee we'll leave Israel to finish the job, and I think we all know how that can turn out. Israel's going to stomp them into the rest of these gupta's into the ground.
