To the FF comments: Final Fantasy is something I would play once, Tales of Vesperia, Symphonia and all other Tales of, are games I play AT LEAST twice. I can play this all time long, and when you multiplayer, its refreshing :D

If you want, you really can listen to both at the same time. In the related videos, you can find a video by theultimateonejps called 'Fury Sparks -Dual Mix-'. It literally plays both Fury Sparks songs at the same time and it sounds good. :D

Agreed. I played Final Fantasy once. Didn't enjoy it. Played Vesperia and Symphonia multiple times. Loved it. Really hope Graces comes out West next year!

On the Tales/FF front, I can appreciate both, but I lean more towards Tales because a) the villains are interesting and aren't just "I will kill the world because I am... I dunno, I'm evil, I guess" and b) The heroes don't normally spend all their time angsting! ^^

@erickthesonicfa Actually, that's a misconception. Final Fantasy itself doesn't contain *that* much angst. The fandom perception of the series *does*. Square Enix has caught onto this and re-characterised ninety percent of FF characters since as brooding pissants to appease them. Case in point: in Dissidia, Kefka - THE Kefka - implied that his reason for killing everything was out of depression because he believed life was meaningless.

Yes, to a degree. While some of the games have yet to reach the US, quite a few have. They are: Phantasia- Game Boy Destiny- PlayStation Eternia (Known as Destiny 2 in the US)- PlayStation Symphonia- GameCube Legendia- PS2 Abyss- PS2 Radiant Mythology- PSP Symphonia: Dawn of a New World- Wii Vesperia- 360 Many people, myself included, hope that Graces, the next game for the series, comes to America as well. (That one is for the Wii)

Most of the games have seperate stories. The only games that connect directly are Destiny, Destiny 2 (Japan Only) and Symphonia to Symphonia: Dawn of a New World (but as a spin-off title). Phantasia is also connected to Symphonia(s) but 4000 years later.

And to answer your question on how good they are...they are very good games with the best being Symphonia, Abyss, and Vesperia. I have yet to play the others (Symphonia: Dawn of the New World is also good but not as good as the others)
