  • what the fuck did he say? ET TI PA PAPET!? SIT YOUR FUCKING ASS DOWN!

  • @grassroot3 He actually says "entrando en pista para despegue", i.e. entering the runway for take-off.

  • @pkaplan747 dude does not annunciate very well. I had to replay like five times before I could make that out. I'm not fluent in Espanol, but I can usually make out the words they are saying.

  • Amazing Video. Shitty quality.

  • @MrKyvegas00 Thanks. It was filmed with my old camera photo camera with the poorest quality...better that than nothing...

  • @pkaplan747 I gotcha man, great video though!

  • esse estava bem pesado pq subo bem devegar...

  • Is IBERIA Russian?

  • @dingdongditch1000 No, is Spanish.

  • Ótimo seu video, gostei muito...

vejam os meus videos: decolagem de vitoria

    Ney (Brasil)

  • i'm soryy, i don't know anything about how bad this airline is but on takeoff...this guy just guns the engines to 100%...inproper takeoff procedure. You're supposed to increase thrust to about 60%, check to see if the engine stabalizes, and THEN apply max thrust..

  • airbus sucks boeing all the way

  • lovely

  • Uolllllll!!!!!!!!!!

    200mph!!

    :-)

  • TO/GA

  • at what time was your flight?

  • Amaaaaaaazing

  • Love those huge Rolls Royce Trents 556 .

    good bye que ten

  • @genitorey You talk a lot about donkeys - you are a donkey fucker !

  • I don't know why, but this looks insanely fast!

  • I flew with Iberia from London to Sao Paulo in 2005. The LHR - MAD flight almost hit a catering truck at LHR and passengers had to pay for all snacks and beverages. The MAD-GRU flight was a modern A340 but no personal entertainment and the service was crap. On the return flight from Brazil I was very happy to hear the plane was full so I got a transfer onto Altitalia and the service as ever was fantastic, all the way to London.

    Thak you Alitalia, goodbye Iberia.

  • Be aware with this company IBERIA !!!

They dont care about your luggage. They charge for carrying a bike, they loose the bike and dont give any satisfaction. You need to contact their CEO to get a response. So my recommendation is DONT FLY IBERIA !!!

  • @maacecchini

i agree with you, DON'T FLY IBERIA !

i flew with them from Madrid to Quito, And that is the worst flight i've ever been on ;s

  • The only decent Spanish carrier for long-haul is Air Europa. I wonder if it has anything to do with its CEO not being Spanish..

  • @maacecchini Why do you think they joined BA in OneWorld, so they can both loose peoples bags together and laugh at us

  • @maacecchini U suck i fly with them from JFk all the time an di brought my fucking guitar bike and all

  • @maacecchini they dont give a fuck, idont know why

  • what the fuck did the flt attndnt say

  • @grassroot3, let me tell, you it is not in English! I don't understand it either.

  • he said prepare for takeoff

  • waw!

  • Great!

  • wut Airport ICAO code is MAD?

  • Madrid.

  • LEMD / MAD

  • Iberia is the worst airline I've ever flown...the passenger don't have individual monitor, don't have phone, the flight attendants are very rude!

The best choice from Sao Paulo to Madrid non-stop is TAM airlines.

  • And TAM stands for?

  • Agree with you, the attention of all staff in this airline make that you dont want to fly with them again

  • @joseportful w3ll i'v neva been to 1 but i am going to be in 1 iberia in december to go to brazil ;D but i agree with u TAM airlines is always great!!!

  • @joseportful TAM=Transporte Aéreo Mortal rs

  • @joseportful Iberia beast best i fly from JFK to MAD to LCG all the time very polite very smooth

  • @dcan1198 SAme here its smooth flying

  • @joseportful Fuck you big deal u dont have ur own tv big deal

  • @joseportful Hmm Are you sure?? I'm not fan of Iberia but............all A346-600"s have AVOD in every seat..maybe you flew in a A343.....

  • witch runway did you take off??

Saludos

  • They are built from aluminum with titanium composites on the outside so it can withstand extreme temperature change.

  • Iberia es una mierda Ganda

  • Actually it is neither, they use titanuim composites. A metal stronger than steel yet lighter than aluminum.

  • yess but b777 engines are twice as big

777 engines are the biggest out of all pasenger airplanes

  • Um, bigger than the A380s????

  • Yes the engine found on 777's are bigger and more powerful than the A380's.

However dont forget that the A380 has four engines so has more total thrust.

  • cool

  • cyprus i flown SAA this beast is amazing gr8 flt u will enjoy it very spacious and very quiet

  • whats it like to fly in the a340-600. im going on it in the summer??? any info i carnt w8

  • y has som1 marked me comment down

  • loooooooooooong airplane xD

  • That took ages 2 take off!

  • Ah, silly child you are garl. I of course was not talking about just this aircraft but all aircraft in general. Before you respond to this, think about your future.

  • garlex, whatever th $%^k that means, in my line of work, you can go from riches to the poor house fast when you talk about stuff that you have no idea about. Keep this in mind unless you wish to live in a gutter.

  • You dont know what YOUR talking about cause the RR engines one this aircraft are NOT the weakest engines nor the cheapest. Think about what you said before you actually think you know what your talking about.

  • And it is not the most fuel effecient. All A340's are gas guzzlers.

  • Not exactly, just less fuel efficent than B777.

  • which is why boeing is better.

  • Why is boeing better? Cause there made by americans? If that is a reason I am laughing.

  • U gave me enough reason, B777 is more fuel efficent, 2 engines over 4, and comparable capacity, still laughing?

  • That's true but does that mean that 'boeing is better', you should of said, the Boeing 777 is better not Boeing the company.

  • true, both have strong parts and weak parts

  • do you have a source of that?

  • haha lol the B777-200LR/300ER variant is fitted with the GE90 engines with the highest thrust of 127 900lb with a diameter 312cm. its undisputedly the biggest

  • airbus makes planes with composite materials on parts that should be steel(AA 587-rudder broke off due to weak parts, Air France 447-Suspected crash due to composite parts), but these planes are lighter giving them more range, Boeing uses steel parts on important parts, resulting in fewer range. Trust me on this, my dad is an Air Force C-5 pilot and my step-dad is a Southwest pilot, they actually fly and know what goes on in the cockpit, unlike you.

  • AA 587 tail broke off because the stress put on the rudder way exceded its design limits. It did not break off due to weak parts as you say.

Regarding AF 447 I have read the official report and nowhere does it say composite parts are suspected as failing.

It seems you Americans bash Airbus at any opportunity you get...

  • If AA 587 was built with steel parts instead of composite, the design limits of the rudder would have been higher, the aircraft wouldn't have crashed and those 265 people would be alive.

As for AF 447, the official report is an educated guess. They never found the black box, and they never will. The reason they don't say it was due to weak parts is b/c they need indisputable evidence to cite the cause of the crash.

It seems as if you like to think you know everything.

  • From the official AA587 crash report: A substantial investigation showed no unkown difficulties in the use of compsoite materials on the tail. It is just as likely that one could cause a metal fin to break under simular circumstances.

As for AF447 the cause is unknown so any specualtion from is pure "hear say".

I dont think I know everything. I just stat facts based on good information written by Aviation experts.

In fact if anyone thinks they know everything it is yourself.

  • Its not that I think I know everything, I just feel like I would know more about flight and aircraft because my dad is an Air Force pilot and my step-dad is a southwest pilot, and I listen to what they say and then I double check their theory's. I know its easy for you to sit and read wikipedia and then argue, but how about you talk to someone who knows a little something about flying planes.

  • Yes ok you have some very good sources and influences etc.....

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and after reading official reports into AA587 (not wikipedia btw) its my opinion that it would not have mattered whether the tail used steel or compsites....

  • Ok you are allowed to your own opinion, I just have a different one. I feel that if was a 767-300ER, it would have never happened.

  • That stress on that tail wing came from air wake from a 747 that take took off mintues before AA587. AA578 was warned before take off that a 747 had taken before them and the pilots knew and was warned that they would run into air wake from that 747.

  • Ha, you don't know squat about airplanes. They're not made from steel, they're made from aluminum. Furthermore, composite parts have little to no bearing on range. Finally, Boeing uses composite parts as well, and the new 787 will the the world's first all composite (or nearly all composite) airliner.

  • You are right, planes are not made ENTIRELY out of steel, but some of the essential parts are. And composite parts do make lighter planes, which CAN produce extended range. We cant talk trash about the 787 yet because it hasnt flown yet. It might help you if actually talk to someone who knows a thing or two about aviation instead using wikipedia for your sources, dumbass.

  • Big ass monster indeed. kicks the shit outta the 747

  • YOUR RIGHT IT DOES, except in everything that matters. Do your research before you make a baseless claim!

  • how long runway airbus a340 have to have for take off?

  • around 9,000ft or so.

  • Comment removed

  • wonderful video. Very beautiful to watch

  • Very beautiful ! nive view of the engines!

  • No, I GE's power the A300/310 and some 330's also

  • Talking about the A340. ;)

  • the RR RB's are louder and less efficient, whereas these are great

  • Nope, Airbus A340 series were supposed to use IAE engines, but instead favored the CFMI-5C and the 4's on the -3xx model. The new A340-5xx/6xx use the Trent 500 I think, anyway. So yeah up until the NG A340s, they used a Franco American engine. ;D

  • Engines are made in England, RR. ;)

  • love airbus. boeing is good also. mcdonnell douglas S80 is a horrible plane though. slow. and always having problems!

  • I like airbus but Boeing is the best

  • you are right. the boeing 777 with the ge90s will out perform any rolls. to me rolls engines are overpriced like there cars...and you dont need four engines.thats a thing of the past.. the 777 is the best commercial jet ever made period and the 787 will be as nice i hope.. i would not be surprised if they dont make a single inline thrust engine for comercial jets one day. 4 engines will soon be a thing of the past. thats all they are are kerosines hogs...

  • " boeing 777 with the ge90s will out perform any rolls." totally meaningless.

  • how you figure. you dont need four engines to perform.. only thing i said is the ges are more powerful. sounds to me you have a complex..this is a friendly conversation.. i just think airbuses are not the quality of boeing. i have been on all of them..........

  • You are critical of Airbuses A340 design consisting of 4 engines,. something thats considered obsolete right? someone failed to mention that to Boeing with their up and coming 747-8F/ i. GE, RR and PW will make an engine as powerful as it needs to be for that aircraft type. You like to negate fact during friendly conversation.. sounds like you have bit of a complex their mate.

  • Oh Man I love that sound, always gets me, that high pitch fine sound, that fast take off and how they just lower it a bit makes it lovely to hear.

  • they just ease off the throttle a little bit.

  • rolls royce makes nice looking trent 500s looks and sound a lot better than the other a340-100,200,300

  • Love the way that the outer engine flaps and moves about so much due to wing-flex on the A346

  • a340-600 rules !!! would like to see this flight land, do u have the video for that?

  • Heavy take-off. Airbus RULES!!!!!

  • Rolling Take-Off, Awesome! (Y)

  • Nice video. Do you know which row this is?

  • haha,..well,..whats theseating arrangement?,is it 2-4-2 or 3-3-3?,....or 2-2-2?

  • I love take offs!, I also love the sound of those engines and I love Airbus!!!!!

  • Dont be silly.

  • The plane is a joint consortium made between Spain, England, Germany and France. Do you see a Made in China mark on this? xD LOL

  • eeeeuppppp ppppeeppppreeee pree dis mal iest

  • A340-600 is a pretty powerful plane....that's why almost all of them have the motto "4 engines 4 long haul"

  • the 747 has that same motto lol

  • They can accelerate very quick with RR trent 500s but its all about using minimum thrust now adays to save fuel and emitions. Short runways are best to feel power

  • Best6060, the a340 is only something like 38 knots slower than a 777, and flight times are almost exactly the same

  • notice the wing gain lift right when the plane lifts off

  • Finally, a full power takeoff!

  • ¿Cuál era tu asiento? ¿10 o 11A?

    Gracias por este vídeo.

  • 10A

  • which airport is GRU?

  • Guarulhos International Sao Paulo

  • wow! iberia number 1!

  • The Best Airbus after A380

  • WHY?

  • so much power! thank you for sharing
