maybe some one can clear this up for me. Using the postfix @ 3:39 would make the while statement false. When would using a postfix be beneficial? Because actually i see no reason for this just yet.
People who are following the lessons, the only way to truly learn this is to read and understand the program then do it yourself without peeking at xoax's code.
@KillerAragon very true, I used the previous lessons to create a simple "pick a number from 1 to 100" game, it really helps you become familiar with the code
Hah, from Perceptron Training to Incrementing/Decrementing... that was a quite a drop :P but that's okay, I like being able to understand lessons completely
i want to learn to make advanced program like security application and stuff but i want to make them in the .Net thing, is c++ the right language for that?
Holy shit people, this is less than basic mathematics. How the hell do you think you're going to achieve the status of "Video Game Programmer" if you don't understand x + 1 or x - 1? The required mathematics level for a standard CSC major is Calculus 4 and a few other higher level math courses.
I'm not being a douche, just brush up on your math people.
I really like the videos they really do help me understand programming in c++.I'm about to be 14 years old and I want to be a video game programmer which is why I'm watching these videos right now. They really do help!
@masterassassin1 Good for you! But don't forget to work hard at your regular school work. Be sure to take tons of math and physics classes (of course, don't take too many or you'll burn out or hate these subjects). Work hard to do well in them.
@masterassassin1@masterassassin1 Wow my man, good job! I'm 20 and I'm learning it now, wish I had learned it earlier. Programmers in my area make more than doctors- you're gonna be rich. Just keep going!

lesson 13 destroyed me...
1908dalol 1 year ago 104
@1908dalol I agree 110%, less 13 was horrible and way way too random
all I learnt was in brief, I don't think linear algebra, artificial neural networks... can be learnt easily, a course is the only option

He sounds so sulky at the end.
This concludes the lesson...*shrugs*
