that is NOT a British Airways 747 landing. That's YOU w/ur Microsoft SIMULATOR game - why the FUCK are you posting that on youtube?? May the wrath of GOD ALMIGHTY strike you down for being a DUMBASS!
Yeah? I think British Airways is the best! and their 747s are amazing. the only advantage I find to flying United is the option to listen to the pilot's ATC communications on channel 9 of the inseat entertainment system.
they do, everyday around 5 pm they arrive with their 747, i used to drive out to the airport and watch it land..! its impressive when ur that close to it!
thanks alot. I used FSRecorder to record the entire flight and all the data related to it. FSRecorder files can only be viewed using the FSRecorder application, which is installed into FS2004; so, I then used FRAPS to record the FSRecorder files into wmv format. I got the views right next to the plane in Spot View mode (press S), and used FSRecorder to get the special tower view that followed the aircraft along the runway from a fixed position. Both FRAPS and FSRecorder are free.
thanks. ya, I think what happened was the 15 kt wind died out a few hundred feet above the ground, so I had applied too much engine thrust, and was going to fast when the wind died, it would have been hard to compensate for this - I would have had to land hard, so I just glided down the runway abit.
Actually BA does use the 747-400 routinely from PHX to LHR, and the other way. We're booked on this flight next Spring. It's their standard plane....

I've flown 5 times to Phoenix. It's always been a 747.

Honestly, I don't think that British Airways uses 747's when flying from LHR to PHX. I think they use a 777.
YogaNate79 3 years ago
negative, every year i travvel to KPHX and than im flying from brussels to heathrow and from heathrow to Phoenix in a 747-400
skydive911 3 years ago
yeah, skydive is right... there are several videos of real BA744s landing at Phoenix, they may use 777s during during certain parts of the year.

I think British Airways charges way too much for their airline fares. I'd rather fly on United for a cheaper price and connect in Denver to London.

have you taken a look at my new landing at Kennedy in a Virgin Atlantic 747?
jbflight405617 3 years ago
Yes, I gave you a comment on it!

Great job!
Quick question: How did you get to record your flight and replay it from the outside view?
