  • Greetings from the Philippines!

I enjoy your interpretation. Very promising musician you are!

  • Once again here to listen, and I really do like how you play it, and how your piano is singing;) .. Keep playing, cause you are very good :))

  • Oh yeah, btw, I posted a video of me playing this song on my channel. Do check it out! :)

Sorry about the audio quality though. The pedalling was badly recorded on my camera microphone.

  • Hey, nicely renderred. ^_^ Good trills!

Some of the tips which might help you improve on the tonality and interpretation:

    1. 1:41 - 1:45; the triplets should be played with the accurate rhythm, so as to prevent the melody there from sounding "rushed".

    2. 2:06 - 2:17; the tempo is up to personal interpretation. However, I suggest slowing down a smidge, so that each note is clearly enunciated.

    3. 1:03 - 1:06, 2:36 - 2:39, 2:50 - 2:52; Check the rhythm. It is to be played in an "ironical" sense.

  • I just listened to and enjoyed this piece again. I've been a bit afk over the last few months and am just getting back into the swing of listening to YT recordings!

  • Very, Very nice :D You are saying Thomandy is good, that is a great compliment cause you are really good to!!!! Great trills! Wow :D 5*

  • You are Right one that Liz?!

She plays this piece exelente!!!! =)

  • Nice. I love this piece. Good performance.

  • This is a very beautiful piece and you interpreted it very well. Great job!!! 5-star work :)

  • Very nicely handled. This is one of Chopin's more obscure compositions Op posth. means it wasn't published until after he died - probably the publishers wanting to make money there!! It has some gorgeous harmonies. highly enjoyable and look forward to hearing some more of your performances soon!

  • that's really encouraging=D I don't have a teacher so I don't know technically where I'm wrong actually... but I know that there's tons to improve on=D

  • Just awesome =) Great dynamics and tempo :)

    5stars :)

    Thomas

  • Hey, thanks for commenting my Chopin's Nocturne! It's very raw yet, though.

    I've just watched you playing Nocturne No. 20 and it's absolutely wonderful! I am learning this piece too! The only thing is that I don't know how I can play the ups and downs in this piece, near the end ;_;

Thanks again and I hope I can watch more of your videos!

  • Wonderful Julia! I'm learning this nocturne too. It's really difficult! 5\5! (*^^*)

  • I love this

    Awesome performance

  • It is always a pleasure to listen to this nocturne when played this way.

  • top class

    brilliant is an understatement

big 5 stars wish i could give more

    well done

  • Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful! You are learning it without a teacher?

  • I was a bad kid who didn't enjoy piano lessons then. And now when I don't have one and seeing others playing so well I'm motivated.. back on track! of course it takes extra effort to learn up a piece without a teacher =D but the passion is there, will do!

  • But you are doing it very well, Julia! Congratulations...

  • very nice!
