I have only recently discovered the monome and am wondering what software you recommend using for it? I have an ipad with an app that has an 8x8 grid. The only thing that I am having trouble with is finding the right program to work in junction with it as a MIDI type of controller. With summer here, I am going to keep my eyes open for a monome being sold... but in the time being, this is what I've got.
@0Sorrow0 no, not at all. The arc was in development long before this video and the reason I'm using the powermate was anticipation for the eventual release of the arc.
I really like these sounds. FM has gotten a bad wrap, or is often viewed as being good for nothing but 1980's retro. Your work here shows that FM can be useful for beautiful sounds, ambient or edgy.
Of course, I like to hear ValhallaShimmer in there as well. ;)
