Castlevania Rondo of Blood Music - Vampire Killer (Stage 2b)

Castlevania 4 has the best control hands down of all the 2D series, and its soundtrack is the best of all the cartridge CVs. You dudes putting it down are smoking some good stuff. Bad soundtrack, are you kidding me? The prologue alone still sends chills down my spine. SCV4 is highly rated for good reason, its one of the best platformers ever made.

CV4 is overrated by some people like AVGN (who calls it an utterly perfect game devoid of flaws, his opinion of it is 100% pure fanboy delusion,) but it was still a good game even if the graphics looked like someone vomited on a sprite sheet.

Rondo Of Blood is the second best Castlevania game, in my opinion, after Symphony Of The Night. After them, comes the ones for the GBA and DS.

@hindd95 yeah I agree with you Symphony of the night, Rondo Of Blood, Aria Of Sorrow and Dracula's Curse are my personal favorites I think Super Castlevania 4 sucks in my opinion, It lacks the awesome music present in the majority of games in the saga.

@Daniel96Z lacks the awesome mu- ok you need to listen to simon theme, the beginning, VAMPIRE KILLER and FREAKING BLOODY TEARS from SCV4 mah boi... your missing epic music right there. (and it doesn't suck, it's such an epic castlevania just look at the graphics, the 8-way whipping of win and the awesome MODE-7 stages makes it a legendary game among classic castlevanias.)

Probably the best official version of Vampire Killer. I love how it builds on the original from Castlevania. If you want to hear a truly awesome rendition of this version, go and search for a guy called teungx who plays it on a violin (he's the guy dressed as the grim reaper).
