  • That's a bristlebot with LEDs basically

  • That's a bristle bot. Beam bots use solar ( sorry if that is solar I didn't check ery hard before I posted)

  • yeah, you're right. It's just that beam bots are made as simple as possible and from recycled stuff, scrap etc. Even the battery here is recycled, but I get your point. Most beam bots i have made use solar energy, this has a battery charged with solar cells so i just didn't see big difference here but i can change the name for clarity :)

  • @Vidzaboutstuff09 actually, B.E.A.M bots don't always have to be solar powered.

  • @Vidzaboutstuff09 B.E.A.M. is for biology, electronics, aesthetics and mechanics; solar power is not a requirement.

  • I liked it when it was break dancing. :D

  • that reminds me of mine i will make a video and show you

  • ive been making these robots but i call them bristle bots cuz the bottom has bristles on it my question is how did u cuz the bristles flat?

  • The bristle sure is hard to cut. I used wirecutters and worked slowly through the whole brush to make sure the lenght is even. I tried this bot with full lenght bristle and it was way too unstable and even with it cut flat it needed those leds to stay upright.

  • is their anyway to make it slower???

  • Li-po seems to be caffeine for robots, apparently.

  • awesome

  • what did u use to make

  • Soldering iron

  • 1st post!

    It's a very nice little device ;D
