  • dude those tires look bald

  • It would have been more easy whit chains on. But the cruiser will make it anyway!!

  • Air down those tires dumbass. They look like dounuts.

  • My 37" MTR's throw WAY more mud than that...this must be weird dry mud. Mind you, it looks like you're in 4low which is not good for mud, tires cant spin mud off that slow.

  • Uh, try using 4L on the transfer case you dipstick. Then lay off the throttle. What do expect when your truck is full of mexicans who won't help push! If a Taco Bell was around they would push for food!!!!

  • You can't get any grip with those tires in our kind of mud .. kind of clay mud.

  • why tapage2 sucks in mud

  • ...buy a jeep. Or, upgrade to actual drag slicks. They may provide more traction ;)

  • no offense but it looks like you are trying to drive with drag slicks, there is no tread on those

  • hey, its time to get some new tires buddy, that has nothing to do with the model

  • try airing down...

  • Pretty cool!

  • its a jap truck....nuf said

  • de donde son Uds?

  • @1nazarett1

    Hola .. somos de Panamá

  • ok ok ,, esta fina esa LC. man .. pense q estaban aqui en el norte.

    bueno buena suerte.

  • You need some Supper Swamper Boggers !!!!!!!!!!

  • maybe if you took out the 9.68 gears in the axles and took it out of 4 low you might be able to spin the tires fast enough... r u tryin to mud or pull a navy destroyer

  • @wacey2002 You nailed it.

  • it's not the MTR it's the driver who need new tires

  • it's not the tires its the driver

  • That looks like clay! Thats touh on any tire!

  • @rudedog062 it is ..

  • Try airing them down, they are more mud terrains than many ive seen besides swampers, and bfg's. Soft rubber, durable sidewall, mt/r's should do better than that. Once again, you need to air down.. my bfg a/ts could do better than that when aired down.

  • The new model looks far more agresive .. still not tested, but looks that it could do better ..

  • dude those tires or bold!My mtr throw mud like crazy.looks like you have on street tires.buy some new ones and try the same hill.

  • they weren't made for mud.

  • @DontDoDrugsSmokeHERB

Actually you know dude ... you are complete right and that's the real reason behind this video ..

  • @DontDoDrugsSmokeHERB What does MTR stand for?

  • @wangankin mtr stands for Maximum traction reinforced, you want to play in mud get a swamper, you want to do some rock crawling mtr

  • save some gas u wasted trying geting out that mudholes and get some new tyres !!!!!!!

  • i agree those tires are slicker than snot!

  • Toyota is a POS!

  • Jeep = Just empty every pocket !

  • @Tapage2 not a jeep noob

  • Those tires look toasted to me, I see no tread. Did you guy's get ripped off or just use these tires for the 5th season? Between not knowing how to drive, bald tires, and a SUV in the mud with this combination would explain it.

I drive Jeep's, the only way to go!

  • Those tires look toasted to me, I see no tread. Did you guy's get ripped off or just use these tires for the 5th season?

  • tires cant clean themselves if you dont spin the tires fast enough to throw the mud off. i dont have mt on my jeep but goodyr wrangler A/Ts and they were caked bad with mud but the maintain traction cause i left it in 4hi in mainly in 1st gear and i crawled through some very deep shit. ironically i had to help my friends 2wd ford with maxxis mudder buckshots tires get out cause he got stuck and his tires where caked bad too but he had a v6 that couldnt spin the tires fast enough to clean

  • tyres dont clean tyres horse power cleans tyre's... no hp mud will get you every time.

  • and this is exactly why u get a locking differantials. u would have had no problems at all with that

  • I'm not thinking it's the tires that suck as much as it is the driver. lol.

  • its obvious you dont know how to drive

  • first of all learn how to drive

  • and he doesn't know how to drive to save his life

  • Yeah was probably in the 18 - 20 PSI range in all 4 tires ..

  • @Tapage2

i bet it would have been easier if you lowered them some more, probably not lower than about 12 psi.

    nice car mate.

  • hey i have the new 1s and there great i just think its your truck and the driver i mean look at 7 sec

  • From the looks, the tires were simply over inflated for what you were trying to do (I bet you had at least 25 psi on the tires, whereas you should've been around 15.)

  • Are these the old GoodYear MTR's, or the new MTR with kevlar?

  • Those are the old model ..

  • i blame the driver and im not a big fan of the truck but i agree i hate the look of the mtr and they dont seem very good the old mud terrains look so much better but in my experience not so great in certain types of snow

  • i blame the driver. you coulda cruised threw that in the begining if you had kept up a lil momentum.

  • yea i guess you could say that the tires suck when you fill the lugs with mud by stopping in the stuff you trying to go threw

  • how are the tires suppose to clean out when you have it in low gear grab 4h and 2nd or 3rd gear and piner to the wood

  • No AT tire is going to be a great option for this, and I'm not a fan of those MTRs, but I wouldn't blame the tires for this disaster.

  • buy glasses .. and check my other videos ..

  • Looks like you have open diffs, that is just silly.

  • Sorry but my Cruiser have ARB front and rear, turbo, intercooled boosting 14 PSI

  • Comment removed

  • It's not the tires, you just suck. My granny can drive better, and she is dead.

  • MTR el Lodo Valen verg.. En Panamá, primer swampito y a poner cadenas... son excelentes llantas. Pero pa lodo se cuequean

  • WORK THE WHEEL! Dude your driving skill get a -1

  • Can't blame the TLC.

Plenty of power but no traction.

    Are the tires SO bad?

    This is painful to watch...

  • Are good tires .. but aren't made for our mud .. that works down here are chains .. even if you have boggers or TSL .. you can check my other vids .. they don't lie

  • @Tapage2

    I believe you!

    Cheers!

  • wtf almost bald bfgoodriches on a 1996 gmc yukon got better traction than that pice of crap.

  • Agreed. I've got MT/R's on my Rubicon and have never, ever, been stuck. In this vid, I'd say the vehicle is the weak link. Hard to judge a tire on a vehicle with open differentials.

  • @C0MPUTER101 You must not go wheelin much, Ive got a 06 rubi on 35s "bogger rear tsl's front" and every time I go wheelin I pull out the winch AT LEAST twice..........Ride windrock in tn

Also got a 98 XJ on 33s "6.5in rock krawler long arm" ARB's front and rear, MT/R's....Gets stuck all the time

  • @C0MPUTER101 agreeeed lock them shits up my rubicon does awesome with the mt/rs

  • I have a 1995 Dodge Ram w/ the 37" Goodyear MT/R's and it gets me just about anywhere I want to go. You probably had no tread on them or its just your donkey driving skills

  • dang i guess you tol him

  • I hope to see your truck doing the same ..

  • piece of crap truck,a kids power wheel's has more get up and go then That...buy a decent truck before u get the best tires on it

  • like what, a domestic that will break down if you look at it funny?? I would rather have a Toyota Landcruiser or any Toyota for that matter than have a shitty truck that breaks all the time!!

  • @CANDigB hey dumb ass the last truck that i had we put over 300,000 miles on and it never broke down once someone else owns it now and it is still running and it went through a lot worse stuff than is in this video

  • @alexadams1212 Well this is just poor driving, But all I'm saying is that there is a reason why you see Toyota's driving across Africa/Siberia/Antarctica and the North Pole and those domestic trucks aren't in the picture!! A Toyota is just like an AK47 you can abuse the shit out of them and they just keep coming back for more! thats why the taliban use both, THEY DON'T BREAK DOWN!! Oh and 300 000 miles.... try 500-1 000 000 Miles on a Toyota!

  • dude do you just have a problem with saying that American made trucks will take everything that you throw at them and keep going. i am not saying that Toyota's are not good they are but so are all the domestic trucks saying that they fall apart is just stupid

  • Sure they will take everything you throw at them, I was just responding to a previous comment about the Land Cruiser being a shitty truck, It is not, there is a reason why they are relied on around the world to go where nothing else will go. And as far as reliability between domestic and import vehicles, the numbers speak for them self, look at the reports in the annual Consumer Reports magazine and what has come out on top for the last umpteen years.......TOYOTA!!! Thats all I'm going to say!!

  • @CANDigB lol toyota? I can bet you, that Toyota Engineers will mostly agree that the SR5 back in the day would out perform any Land Cruiser, their Heavy, Wide, and ridiculously long. not worth the count when it comes to the woods--

Stick with the SR5 pickup...or the one the only

    oIIIIo

  • you need some power to clean the tires, mtr's are one of the best mud tires out there. so its ur truck not the tires

  • Needed a higher gear for more wheel speed. That's what cleans the tread. Should have tried 4-Hi in 1st.

  • if it cant clean them in 4 low it definatly wont in 4 high !!!

  • I think you may be thinking about it backwards. In 4-high, first gear, the wheels will spin faster than they would in 4 -low first gear. Same for the rest of the gears. So, your statement should be reversed. If it can't clean them in 4 HIGH, it won't in 4 LOW!

  • In a situation like that without diff locks you need to clean the tires with speeed or you'd be bogged = 1st gear Hi and full pawa!!!!

  • OMFG, too funny, I was doing a search for the new kevlars and came across this. Holy crap dude, you need to air down and learn how to drive. Don't blame the tires for that idiocy.

  • You can't wheel... at all. Don't blame tires when your driving skills are donkey level at best

  • thats ridicoulous man...even a stock jeep can pass that.

  • first of all learn to speak English, then learn to wheel. maybe if you knew how to drive you could see the true potential of your tires

  • Si como no .. come and show me please !

  • a poor wheeler blames his equipment, not the real problem - the person behind the wheel.

  • Would like to see you there .. easy to comment it behind the monitor.

  • many a Rubicon trip in my rearview. EJS '09 was a blast too.

MT/R's arent a mud terrain tire btw. MT/R stands for maximum traction/reinforced - as in reinforced sidewall.

try a little more momentum and/or less air in the tires next time.

  • If MT/R's aren't mud terrain tires, what would you class them as? If you were simply trying to explain that the "M" doesn't stand for mud, fine, you are correct. But, to say they aren't mud terrain tires is incorrect. How good they perform in mud depends on a number of variables.

  • In this case, I would have to say the rig was definitely lacking as it appears to have open differentials. If it had lockers, he would have spent less time in that mud hole. Being the owner of a 2006 Jeep Rubicon, I can attest to the difference having locking differentials makes in the capability of one's rig.

  • that was 3rd ..

  • serious?

what motor is in your 60?

  • 2H K26.8 Turbo + Intercooler = 14 PSI of Boost

    ARB lockers F&R

    Marks T-case Low Gear Set

    4.56 R&P

  • nice.

well, i guess get some tyres which aren't MTRs and give it another go? lol

  • come on mate, reverse back, select second gear and have a REAL go!!! :D

  • that was 3rd .. ya don't think I'm that bad .. ?

  • hahahahhaaa... MTR SUCKS!

  • Excelente piloto!

  • nahh, Carnavales es Ocu...

  • hay que ir por la revancha de ese paseo fren

  • Vamos a planearla bien para verano y vamos con todos los hierros .. Carnavales ?
