This is the way i look at it and so should other people. Do we want big government or focus more on big businesses. Those are the main differences here, democrats are all for big government, and i think many can agree that we don't want big government. We dont want the democrats coming in and shutting down drilling in the states and taking away our guns (guns don't kill people, its the person holding the gun, if someone wants to kill they will find away regardless of whether they have a gun)

I have yet to see any press ask Williams Ayers what educational policies he work with Obama on at the foundation. Were the policies implemented? Were they successful? These are basic questions. Acorn didn't do anything wrong but hire the wrong people. They get paid 8.00 and hour to REGISTER new voters, some of those people were desperate for money, so they made up names, took them from the phone books and had people sign up multiple times. That has nothing to do with Obama. People are given Acorn a bad rap because of the republican spin.

blatin, as far as vote registration goes. If you register to vote, you can request an absentee ballot and never show up. If you register a bunch of false people and they get on the rolls. You have more people that you can pad the vote with in elections. You can be registered and not vote. People can say you voted even though you didn't. They just fill out your ballot and mark your name off the list. Everybody knows the history of corrupt elections in Chicago.
That's why they check the registrations first, because you need a valid SS# and your address has to match. So if these people were getting names out of the phone book, where would they get the SS# from? All of that is checked before the person can vote.

blatin, as far as vote registration goes. If you register to vote, you can request an absentee ballot and never show up. If you register a bunch of false people and they get on the rolls. You have more people that you can pad the vote with in elections. You can be registered and not vote. People can say you voted even though you didn't. They just fill out your ballot and mark your name off the list. Everybody knows the history of corrupt elections in Chicago.

That's why they check the registrations first, because you need a valid SS# and your address has to match. So if these people were getting names out of the phone book, where would they get the SS# from? All of that is checked before the person can vote.

blatin, different states have different rules and some don't require SSN or even ID. You fill out paperwork they send you a notice to the address and you mail it back and you are register. Just like website send an email to validate your address when you register. ACORN got caught with the obvious ones. Plus you forget that election offices are run by political figures. They can decide what registrations go through and not go through. Just like Katherine Harris purge legit voters in FL.

blatin, I think Dems want to win the election at any cost. If Palin would have been half way competent instead of being woefully unqualifed, it would have been a really tight race. Dems in position of power to tip the election was going to do what they need to do. Reps too for that matter. Look Obama was part of the Daily machine in Chicago. It's hardball politics with those guys just like Rove and Bush & Co.

You have to goto people that evaluate the candidates tax plans. Obama doesn't have any real details on his site. Neither does McCain. Obama never said anything about creating new brackets. He said he wants to take those rate back to Clinton levels which was 36% and 39.4%. He has said this plenty. Obama doesn't have anything about lifting the cap off Social Security taxes on his site but he says it in a video on CNN.

blatin, you can search 2008 Federal Income Tax Table and find this information. You see saying 165,000 and 200,000 don't sound as good when you talk about raise taxes. Press could report that easily. Fox is the only news organization reporting dirt about Obama. Hannity was talking about Rev Wright in Oct/Nov of 2007. 6 months before the mainstream press. The mainstream press only jump on Obama after SNL did a skit about how soft they were on him compared to Hillary.

blatin, This guy is going to wield more power than any president in 40 years because his party is going to have almost complete control in Congress and his has no track record which is why the press really can't get anything stick. I think Obama will be alot like Jimmy Carter. I think the economy will be worst than it is now because of his policies. The question is how long will he be able to say it's not his fault. I say about 18 months.

blatin, I never said I was voting for McCain. McCain has a bad temper. He tends to get self righteous and he makes rash decisions. I think he will be quick to go to war or prolong to existing ones. He will manage them better than Bush though. I know that because of his track record. He probably shouldn't be president now. He had his time in 2000. I just don't think Obama is the second coming. Dems in Congress will take him far to the left and the country will suffer economically.

blatin, Obama will get us out of the wars that will good enough for me. He would be a better president if he has to cut deals with Republicans to get stuff done. It made Clinton better. It stops both sides from doing really stupid shit. Bush probably wouldn't have went to Iraq if Dems ran Congress in 2002/2003. I knew he was going to go to Iraq when he was elected to finish what he father didn't. Dems probably would have threaten to impeach his ass and he would have back off behind the scenes.

We were discussing Obama in a chat room. People were saying that Obama can't even produce a birth certificate. I said that is trivial, he is the best man for the job. And they said the law states you must be born here to be president. Now, regardless if Obama was born here or not, there was a room full of people in the USA that would hold to a law than to put the person in office that can change the country for the better. We're stuck in our ways i think.
