Anita, aquí está mi intenta - ¡muy provisional! - de traducir el texto del poema galés al castellano. "Cariño" En ti hay un fuego, un olor de agosto, de tierra pura. En ti hay una ola, una fiesta en el corazón, individuos [...] uno a otro. En ti está callada la voz, nada más que una mano remando la mano en el mar lunar. En ti hay un viaje más allá del lenguaje y una vieja, vieja esperanza, más vieja que el conocer.
En galés: "Cariad" Ynot ti mae tân, oglau Awst, tir glân ar gawod gân ar goed y gwanwyn. Ynot ti mae ton, gŵyl yn y galon, unigolion yn wyn iw gilydd. Ynot ti mae taw y llais, dim ond llaw yn rhwyfor llaw ar fôr y lleuad. Ynot ti mae taith y tu hwnt i iaith a hen, hen obaith hŷn na nabod.
