@bigboy14100 its not always generally about horse power, but it is really a lot about torque, horsepower measures power, but not so much about speed. police cars have high torque engines with souped up cooling systems

Actually he did outsmart the cops, on several points
1. Outdriving
2. Making that cop swerve across the median with a sick fake out
3. They did not catch this kid, the footage was edited and you can tell. When the narrator says his car breaks down, its footage from earlier in the clip where the cop almost hits him when he brakes.
Cops gave up on this chase, many people know this on YouTube. That wouldn't make the cops look like heroes on TV though!

@RJP281 Yeah on the other footage of this on here a lot of people on the comments pick out the exact time where the tape is edited and they're right - I'm just not sure what it is I don't want to watch this forever to find out.
You know how cops are when stuff gets too too dangerous, they almost lost a cop cuz the kid is so crazy. Thats when it's time to pull the plug

the kid was 15yrs. old watch when he braked the first time and then when they caught him it was the same scene.. here is what happened. he out ran the shitty drivers of the cop. He was schooled by the kid. they ran plates it belonged to his father which is a BMW stunt driver. The catch was FAKE. cops shows always lies and they got busted for it. loved the part when they said the cop managed to control his car to not hit a crusier.. if he had control he wouldnt of wrecked.. GO KID!

I wouldn't say it would "eat" it. I'm not a fan of Chevy but the 350 is a pretty good engine and a cop Camaro can go 167. You also have to remember a cops job is to tail the person running - not fuckin swerve in and out and shit like that. Its a matter of preference bud - I don't think one is shitty and one isn't. The Bimmer strait 6 isn't bad either.

yeah, corvette motor with a computer chip : ) well i guess my truck has a corvette engine in it too.
at the most that camaro is puttin out 300 maybe 350 horses. But the BMW is a lot lighter than the camaro. Raw power doesent mean anything if youre driving a tank
A little lesson, camaros were made with LT-1's up untill 1998, when they switched to the aluminum block ls-1 engines.
