what do you use as a media player? You may just need to download a codec for it. you can get that at the Windows Media Player website. Also, what format is the song u downloaded? (.mp3, etc.)

Do you have to have a VPN client for your torrents so that you dont get caught? Or is that a lie that people tell you to scare you?

well, let me put it this way..you can get caught no matter what. But the VPN narrows your chances. I don't use one and I got caught one out of many times. they sent me 1 notice from my ISP and another when i did it again. if i get caught again then its 3 strikes your out. you can get an IP changer or change it via CMD prompt but free IP change r is easier...
