capos dont make it any easier or harder to play it just puts the guitar in a higher pitch so it sounds prettier or it helps someone who has a high voice sing along with the music and it makes some chords easier but your gonna have to learn them the right way anyhow

@360STEEL you should learn without a capo so then you can play stuff without a capo when you dont have one if you go somewhere and therre is a guitar you want to play you wont really know how to because they probably will not have a capo

Sounds like your strings are too low. On my acoustic I have my strings low on purpose because acoustics are harder to play to me..

try and hold your finger in the middle of the fret and have a good amount of pressure when you press down

It's a capo. It moves the "open" strings farther up the neck so you get the open chords sound no matter what key you're in.

as said below, its a capo, where i live u can get one for 10-15 dollars :) (even though its in norway and that would be 60-70 NOK)

i would still recommend one that costs a little more 20 dollars maybe :)
