Yhe game look very detail and well resemble to the real armies of the North Africa Campaign, but it never show up in PC games stores in Malaysia. And in Singapore it was way too expensive to own one. I bought CoH(GE) as it was only RM 40.00 (US$10.00) but I really like to try this game. Anywhere I can own one without burning my pocket? I hope I can play the African Corp.

yea thats fair enough, sayin that our allies aided us when needed, but i think what the main point in the war was, was when britian repelled germany, and that controversial 'land invasion' was quashed, then the USA had a safe place from which to launch a counter attack. and so thats when the USA helped us in the war, along with russia fter this aswell, because hitler had some battles won and lost against the russians.

Soviets manpower and production would have won the war without the allied invasion.The war might have lasted a few months longer, but there was no way Soviet could be stopped after the Stalingrad defence.

Yes and no. The Soviets certainly were the ones who defeated the Wehrmacht, no question, but it is doubtful that the Soviets would have been able to march into Europe like they did without help from the West. The economic aid the West gave the Soviets was instrumental. You do discredit to the men on the Murmansk run. Also, the air campaign over Germany took hundreds of fighters that could have been fighting the Soviets. Italy was no small theatre either.

Yes, the aid Soviet got helped alot, especially the trucks and supplies. On the other hand, almost all of that aid arrived after the germans were pused back at Stalingrad. So the aid didnt make a so huge impact many people in the west like to think.

As for Italy, the british with their forces from all over the world did most of the heavy lifting. It was also the British that took out most of the luftwaffe.

its actually a strong possibility that had the US not joined the war, Germany could of amassed all of its forces on the Eastern Front, and with its new weapons like the Tiger Tank, Me262 jet fighter, and STG 44 assault rifle, could of driven the Soviets back and taken Moscow. cuz US strategic bombing was the #1 reason why Germany was short of man and material all the time. ofcourse the Soviets would call my argument lunacy and declare me a Nazi sympathizer, LOL

You are talking about battle of Kursk. T-34's did NOT destroyed Tiger tanks - it was misfortunate accident for Germans. Thing is - Hitler was delaying battle of Kursk because he was expecting to get advantage in that battle with new Tiger and Panther tanks. Those arrived too late giving Russian General time to plant minefields and other traps. Germans had to push their construction times a bit, so new tanks had engine troubles - they were breaking down in a battle. That's why Russians won

Soviet already had wehrmacht on the run after the fight for Stalingrad - and then they recived the majority of the aid they got from the west. The trucks and supplies they got did help alot after that, but not as much as people in the west like to think, because Germany was already beaten.

I'm not saying that USA didnt do anything in the war, hollywood and american media have given a twisted view of the whole situation because of the cold war.

Soviet lost something like 11 million troops (not counting the civilians and partisans) fighting the germans, and extreme ammounts of hardware.

How many did USA lose in Europe? as much as 150 000 troops? A little over 1% of what Soviet lost.

America got a big ass mouth running nonstop 24/7.

The Soviets lost 27 million. The US lost about 360,000 all told. That said the US was never invaded and wasn't fighting over their own cities and houses.

If the US had remained truly neutral during WWII the allies probably would have lost in the end. Britain could never have pulled off something like D-Day without the material support of the US, and that would have meant another 60 divisions on the Russian front, all of the Luftwaffe in Russia, and no material aid.

The allied supply went through Murmansk-Archangel railroad and the Finnish army could have invaded and destroyed the railroad but it did not get a permission from the leading general Mannerheim. If the railroad would've been cut, the allied material help would not have been there possibly. And Hitler wanted to attack Leningrad, but Mannerheim refused. And also Mannerheim stopped the Finnish attack voluntarily to Leningrad, Svir-river and half-way to White sea, so that the railroad was not cut.
