I got licensed after CW was no longer a requirement to get a license but there's some thing about CW that fascinates me I'm going to learn code in the new year.
@tonyridlen Same here! Haha, I'm still have lots of trouble listening to CW and decoding properly. I can send at about 26 wpm if i'm reading off something.
justlearnmorsecode . com and lcwo . net are great programs to help you learn cw. Best way after that is to just listen with a pen and paper, and write down what you hear.
Thank you for posting this sterwing I I am going to use your video as a learning tool to achieve my next Wisconsin QSO party goal which is adding CW contacts to my SSB contacts for this very fun contest. This is also a good teaching video for new hams that want to do this so I will pass it on . , KA9SRM,/Kalika4 thanks for recommending I watch this vid. 73 de NQ9A
WW9R pat a great guy just down the highway from me we spent some time logging for him at a wi9mrc fieldday.Very nice video i like the radio mounted under the table i would have never thought of that
that is cool that you talked to ww9r. he helped me make my first cw contact on 80m at field day. if i catch him on the local repeater i will ask him about his mistake so he has it right. 73 kc9hyr
