  • ol school hands down whats so hard about using current technology to duplicate obsolete technology

  • The old school is better cuz it has better gameplay you should know right off the bat graphics don't make the game :)

  • is it on PS3???

  • Ubisoft? Why not Konami?

  • MAYBE if the animations were hand drawn and not computerized to lifelessness like these are, then it'd be a good transformation. But I grew up with this game as a kid. Hard to beat that old school style for me.

  • @MrTervehattara You got that right! CoD & halo are soo overrated

  • earthworm jim hd is great, why didnt they do something like that : /?

  • arggghhh! stop destroying my beloved classics!!!!!

  • i dont really give a crap....but at least they gave us a remake would have been better if the bosses had the music closer to the original

  • whyy did they got rid of this gaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmeeeee!!!!!???????????????????? its only been out less then 2 years but the 1989 arcade been on the market place more then 4 years this is stupid why not just get rid of thearcade game and leave this one at the market place for 2 more years it doesnt make any sense >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>:(( i didnt even had a chance to download and all my friends are playing it and I feel like im the one being left behind <:(.

  • @PREZILLA2009

It's only unavailable in the United States. You can still get it with a Canadian or European account (pretty easy to make). Then you need to buy an appropriate point card (You can buy European point cards with 800, 1200, 2100 and 4200. Don't know about Canada).

  • @PREZILLA2009 It's back on the marketplace now

  • @ProManUnitedFan On Xbox Live?

  • @PREZILLA2009 Yes

  • Isn't the new one missing some levels or change up the bosses? They aren't exact and that was actually kinda disappointing but it was an interesting effort.

  • @happydragonpics: Reshelled was basically the ORIGINAL Turtles In Time (aka The Hyperstone Heist) redone, whereas the one from the SNES used the 1987 theme as an opener & had more villains from the cartoon (ex: Rat King in the Sewer Surfin' level, Tokka & Razor from the films in a new Technodrome level, Shredder himself in his regular form at the end of the Technodrome level, anti-Turtle Slash in the Prehistoric Turtlesarous level, Bebop & Rocksteady in the Skull & Crossbones level, etc.).

  • Old version it´s better by far... the new it´s a Crap...

  • i like the sound on the SNES better !

  • lol i have the snes version but 3d version is naturally better people just hype up nostaligia way to much and act likes it god lol

  • @hijacker19133 shut up! even a kid like you should know that old school videos games are better!

remember when street fighter was in 2D?

remember when squaresoft had good games? before they joined up with enix?

remember when 90's had The Best Video Games EVER!?

maybe Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time?

    Final Fantasy VII?

    Street Fighter II?

    huh! didn't think so Kid!

  • @93vincentvalentine I wish I was born before, now I have to play what I missed on emulators :(

  • @93vincentvalentine I sure remember legend of zelda ocarina of time, it's one of my favourite games ever! Fuck CoD and halo zelda kicks their ass anyday of the week, especially the n64 one!

  • i still hav the old TMNT game version :-)

  • Fuck the PSN...they fucking took this game off the network . I really wanted to down load it and now it isn't there. The assholes running the PSN really need to keep all of the games up indefinately. This is some fucking bullshit...

  • @NuclearFurniture1

Shut the FUCK up you little bitch, its not PSN's fault, its UBISOFSTs fault the game aint there anymore. Why? Because Ubisoft only had the right to publish the game for 2(!) years! They don't want to renew their license so they pulled it off the network.

  • @NuclearFurniture1 1. "Indefinitely" means an indeterminate amount of time which, since UBISOFT declined to renew the license, this game wound up being available for, ironically and contrary to your post.

    2. PSN didn't take it down, UBISOFT did. But, hey, why let the truth get in the way of bashing the folks who brought you your PSN service to begin with, eh?

    3. You had 2 years to buy it, dipshit. Quit whining.

    4. I suggest you get MAME and emulate the original arcade version. Or fuck off.

  • @daystilljersey Go fuck yourself. I understand why it was taken down now...STFU. I just got a PS3 and did not know that game was even there till about 2 months ago. Got it Dipshit?

  • new school wack as hell, its soooooooooooooooo slow, feel so soul-less, thanks god i have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare for ps2. its has the original version unlockable. we kicked ass on that one

  • Old school TMNT suck this one looks nice get over the old school games we in the year 2011 :)

  • @hijacker19133

Where you born in the nineties or something? Little kids don't get any say regarding TMNT

  • @hijacker19133 Anyone saying that doesn't know real gaming.

  • @hijacker19133 Umm Dude Play Games Like Contra Super Mario Bros NES And Sonic The Hedgehog Sonic 2 Sonic 3 & Knux Super Mario Bros 2 Super Mario Bros 3 Both NES Super Mario world TMNT 2 Arcade And Talk To Me About COD Or Halo Or Other Games

  • Konami needs to buy back the TMNT rights.

  • I like the redo's graphics, but it just isn't the same... It lacks that 90's nostalgic turtles feel. Kinda feel like firing up my SNES now.

  • Wow. The new version looks awesome. Especially the graphics.

  • Re-Shelled sucked. It takes the fun out of the original, has terrible music, and on top of that, I'm not paying $15 for it. The SNES port was the best in my professional opinion.

  • @Gojiramonsta505 Who do you work for?

  • Nothing beats the classics

  • I would say they both look awesome. But I prefer the classics. They will always remain classic and remakes will never surpass them.

  • I just got the SNES version through amazon, and i'm glad i spent the 20 bucks on that over the xbla version. the controls are just so perfect, how you can actually get through a full stage (of a beat-em up nonetheless) without getting hit. Best Beat-em Up EVER!

  • I like the old version much more. It's some kind look more like original 1987 cartoon series. The new version is polished, 3d game that lack the cartoon-like feel that is in original TMNT games. This is valid for any cartoon game, cartoon games must be remain i 2d raster graphics instead of 3d. I just don't like classic cartoons (like asterix, TMNT, Tom & Jerry etc. etc.) to be made it into 3d it didn't look good , my opinion.

  • I wish they'd release this on Wii. But on an actual game disc. not a stupid Wiiware download.

  • the old music got replaced right?

  • i had little caesers pizza for lunch today.

  • The old school looks better and has more soul to it

  • WHY ARE YOU PLAYING BY YOURSELF?

  • Surprised face! How could I have not heard of this remake two years ago! It looks very impressive and true to its original port.

  • its funny how the new one looks a lot harder to control and shittier than the old one.

  • Old school version is BETTER

  • FAIL

  • They should've left the music alone.

  • they remove the intro song and all voice acting :_;

  • The SNES version was better than the arcade, with it's only flaw being you could only have 2 players instad of 4. Both games were far too short in my opinion and could have used at least a few longer levels, but other than that they were both satisfying beat'em up's.

The remake was a let down. If they had made the story loyal to the SNES game instead of the arcade it would have been slightly better. The only thing i liked about the remake was the 8 movement angles instead of the SNES' 4.

  • We all have opinions, and mine is...they are both awesome. I've played both, so I have to say...tie. Don't you DARE judge me, 'k?

  • why did they take away the music from this fotage in the full release?

  • Is that...Holy shit..,thats KENNY LOGGINS That sings that shit.

  • See, the problem is that they based it on the arcade version instead of the SNES version.

  • @KHChaosrules You do realized SNES = Super Nintendo and this "Re-Shelled" was released for Xbox 360?

    Nintendo.... Microsoft...?

Turtles in Time on SNES was exclusive to SNES therefore Nintendo, I am sure, has rights over that version whereas the Arcade version is standalone

  • I like how the new one is more comic booky and does the KAPOW BOOM and stuff...yep.

  • well that makes it up for the shittyness of this game to 160 Microsoft points for black Friday.

  • I just bought this on xbox live today what the hell? they messed it up. The original is 10 times better!

  • does this have split screen co-op?

  • god damn whiney babies. boo hoo the new turtles in time isnt as good as the old one. well get a fuckin snes why dont ya, ya cant have it all

  • atleast they kept tha same soundtrack

  • This looks lame on XBOX and PS3....

They should of release the arcade version and snes version and let people choose which version they want.. It would have been cool to buy both versions of this game and if You beat the game on Hard, nomatter which version, You get to play the snes version which would come with both versions as a add bonus. But that's me idea. This reshelled looks lame and I wouldn't buy it online from the Sony network online.

  • Why the hell did they've changed the music in the newer version?

  • @Famardy

    Copyright infringements by Konami

  • sadly, from some time back to future... most games MUST be 3D, to use full power of consoles.... :( my time has ended on videogames since time ago... god bless the 80s and 90s... and the 2D pixel games.

  • Looks pretty fucking nice.

  • wow, the new version looks so bland compared to the original. Sux too that they chose the arcade version instead the superior SNES version

  • @truboricua they look pretty close to the same damn thing to me

  • Not having the comic exclamations would have been better.

  • It amazes me that developers can't make a good arcade beat'em up side scroller anymore. Even the less popular ones from back in the day, like Arabian Magic and Battletoads, are better then this remake. The 1989 Turtles game and the original Turtles in Time are arcade beat'em up side scroller classics.

  • @CinemaPassion5 Of course. We Americans and non-Japanese developers tend to ruin everything while the Japanese tend to make and HONOR classic games of the past.

  • Both sucks! The one and great of all time is the SNES version!!!!!!! PERIOD!

  • i want he original to come to VC!!! stupid reshelled

  • The thing is that there were TONS of great games for SNES, NES, Amiga etc. etc. Many of the companies that made those games are now defunct, and the license for the games probably comes fairly cheap. The games doesn't even take up many kilobytes, so why is it a problem to get these games out on PSN and XBL? Many people, myself included, would LOVE to play games like TMNT: TIT or Sensible Soccer or the like. HD is great, but only make NEW games in HD. And we want the old school games too.

  • I just cant believe they took out some good bosses in the new version...

  • @TheeZster69 no they're all there (would've been better if they chose SNES port, Technodrome, rat king, bebop n roksteady

  • @oxe161 omy bad dude i confused it with the snes version my mistake

  • @TheeZster69 na dude they took out the lvl when you gotta trow the foot ninjas to shredder remember? and in the dino lvl they replaced slash with the goo monster..

  • dude fucking awesome !!

  • Ottimo!

  • it would have awesome in cartoon graphics. The 80's cartoon

    T-T

  • I wish they still ran the 1980's animated series

  • when th robot said his line the 1st time i immediatley thought 'stephen hawkings'

  • GO LEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • anyone want to play dis online just respond to this comment

  • Should have based it off of the SNES game, instead of the arcade original.

  • @Mitsuraga agreed. the SNES was the superior version

  • i rember this from when i was i kid i played it every day now there making a remake that game was really fun and now it looks better to play

  • Old version is better :P

  • @cherchell58 Exactly, that is because Konami did the original game. There is something that I have been wondering for quite a while: Why don't talented Japanese companies such as Konami publish and develop videogames that are based off of global cartoon, movie, toy, book, and comic book franchises? They make those games a lot better than what Non-Asians can do. All Non-Asian Developers care about is money, and not games like the Japanese do.

  • the only thing, the only thing, the only thing I didn't like about the re-make is the dialog is the "new" turtles... not the childishly-witty late 80's turtles that started it all like in the original

  • In my opinion they should have released the new version WITH THE ACTUAL OLD SOUNDTRACK. I believe the new game is GREAT but with the new shitty music it doesnt feel like the old TMNT game i use to feel. I thought that was the whole point of this re-make, to give it the old feel back with the original soundtrack. They should at least have the old soundtrack to buy on the PSN or the Xbox store thingy.

  • to tell ya the truth i actually like the reshelled version better considering that they are using the character models that are based off of the original tmnt when they were in the comics not the silly (yet good) 85 series.

  • @Saberwind45871 no you don't. stop lying to yourself

  • @charger619c ah actually i do. the roginal turtles were grity, had a good story, and they jsut looked cool not like the childerens version that came out when they were animated

  • 1> if they were going to remake the game, why didn't they port the superior SNES version?

and 2> Why is there no option to play the original still, like other 3D updates on PSN XBLA?

I just dread what The Simpsons arcade game is going to look like later this year >.>

  • Cmon peoples. I love the old school version myself. I was playing it the other day but this version looks pretty cool. Sometimes we gotta let go of the past

  • this should be in the wii

  • I like the concept of the remake, and the graphics are obviously stunning. But nothing beats the arcade original. I'd say the same thign about Street Fighter II HD Remix. I would rather play the classic version of that too just because I grew up with it and love it :D

  • Gay... SNES/Arcade/Genesis>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> UbisoftXBOx version

The french should NOT touch video games.

  • How do u get 99 lives? also is it possible to play online with a guest ? Like to players playing from the same psn

  • Why didn't they release both versions? Or include it on the menu screen? Not like it would take up a lot of space....

  • I think that the original: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Turtles in Time on the SNES looks better.

  • @TokyoNerd This is the arcade version not snes. This was like the PS3 standard of graphics of the 2d generation. New game is like atari 2600.

  • @TokyoNerd the original is better the new graphics suck and also the sound effects are lame and week, xbox needs to leave the classics in their original dormat and not ruin themlike they did with this classic gem

  • @erasure11 Don't blame Xbox, blame Ubisoft.

  • @MlbIndian Yes. Ubisoft should've never obtained the Turtles license and Konami should've kept it. Damn Japanese ...always liking anime and manga characters more than American superheroes and cartoon characters...

  • @TokyoNerd no the arcade looks beter and it is beter

  • @TokyoNerd : Very better,yeaah !!!

  • @TokyoNerd Exactly because the JAPANESE did it.

  • @TokyoNerd It´s the arcade version dude...

  • @XCrashman It's not. The graphics are on par, but that's about it. Different levels/enemies (not sure), and no 4 player mode on the SNES/Super Famicom version.

  • @Walshydude me too. God I wish I hadn't sold it. Only got like 20 dollars for it anyway. Biggest mistake of my life.

  • 3d just takes away from the overall enjoyment.

  • I'm not buying - it isn't half price anymore.

  • The new games sux donkey balls!!!

  • Half price this week on XBLA people!! 400MSP.

  • yeah, SNES one is there I'm not denying that, but there's one on genesis too. It's called TMNT Hyperstone Heist and has identical gameplay. So they don't really owe the game to Nintendo console.

  • Not really because the beloved Super Nintendo version has alot of cool things that the Genesis doesn't have. So, yes Nintendo does have a hold over the SNES version because it is definitely different thatn Hyperstone Heist though SOME similar levels and idenitcal gameplay. The Genesis version was a low grade Turtles in Time. It couldn't even process foot soldiers being thrown at the screen, so that ability is not in the Genesis version.

  • @ManhwaFan snes is better than hyperstone. Difficulty is crazy on the genesis (like every genesis game) I just wanna pwn ass not worry about being perfect.

  • fuck yeah im gonna buy this asap ps store here i cum!!! LOL

  • why dont they just release the arcade version of turtles in time and let us choose whata best.

man the old school would have been godly online. heck i still play the 1989 version on xbla.....

  • @RevengeOfTheKid in fact they release the 2 version in arcade!

  • @RevengeOfTheKid Well, they do have the arcade version on the PS2.

  • I wanna totally get this game

  • better you buy a super nintendo :p and get it is better (or in the easy way play on a snes emulator )

  • @arkalauz I have the SNES one. I also bought this one. I like this one better.

  • Meh, arcade is WAY better and Turtles in Time on Arcade and SNES!

  • was this one the ps2 tmnt 3 game as a bonus?

  • You know, I thought Metalhead was a good guy.

  • what the fuck. Man this trailer is a lie, they replaced the music. They should have just released the original SNES game on the XBLA, with online support and a graphic filter. thats it. Instead they put more money into crap.

  • just get the old arcade version, at least its worht buying for nostalgic reasons. or maybe get it for kids under 8.... but as a gamer, its a pass

  • this video it´s totally a FAKE

  • no its not i downloaded it on pns like a month ago for 10 bucks

  • ahhhh...no!

  • 0:48 Did he just swear?

  • "Cool off, sucker"

  • The Xbox one looks beautiful, but seems 80% the same as the SNES one, I know its a remake, but it was remade almost carbon copy, i rather just play my old SNES one.

I don't think I will "SHELL" out $50-60 for the new one.

  • @superduperboyx its only 400 microsoft points on the marketplace

  • OMG! The Ubisoft logo ate the Turtles!

  • Ubisoft LIES, the soundtrack does NOT like this in the actual game. All they did was add stereo to the arcade soundtrack and overlap it with this trailer.

    Ubisoft, YOU FAIL.

  • Technodrome....let's kick shell!

  • WAIT? I haven't touched this game since the first week it came out was there a update for a better music track>?

When this game first came out.. the OST for reshelled sounds like speakers vomiting.

  • definite buy.

  • Is this game a must buy or is this game good?

Well im not really sure if i should buy it (i got the original for the SNES which is awsome),it seems awsome and all but i played the demo and it seems kinda slow in gameplay,on the SNES version i could beat the game in line 20 minutes, but on this one i might have to waste 3 hours.

  • 1 word... ONLINE

  • you can't play this game anywhere else. so what choice do you really have?

  • Don't know what you guys all have against this game. Just bought it yesterday and it looks AMAZING! You say it misses bosses and stuff, well.. it's a remake.. not the original. Thats what happens with remakes. I'm gonna enjoy this playing with a friend. Cowabunga!

  • this is retarded. this game was made and put on a NINTENDO system

at least also remake for A NINTENDO system like wii or even ds...

    screw xbox

  • i have this game and it is pretty cool

  • and your alfready wrong.... it was an arcade game ported to snes.... get raped

  • yea i agree

  • uh, the game came out for genesis too, plumber boy

  • are you sure its for genesis?

i have this game already on SUPER NINTENDO

  • oh yeah and the music you hear playing in this clip is not even part of the remake its music from the SUPERIOUR Snes version

  • Weirdness... O_O

  • sorry but there is NO turtle game CANT be COMPARE to Original TURTLES in TIME for SNES. I owned that game since i was 6 yrs old/ and still have it in top condition. Turtle fan

  • Bravo! Bravo! stars 5/5

  • why the fuck wasnt the old music on there like it was suppose to be? FUCK THAT . i want my 10 bucks back. all the levels suck. its more easier then when i was like 7 playing this game.

  • i just bought a ps3 and this was the most fun demo i've played so far...maybe i should just buy an snes for myself since they dont seem to make fun games anymore, just pretty ones.

  • what a ugly shell the new leo has

  • Some one give me a reason not to buy this game

  • missing 20-30 min gameplay from the SNES version, plus extra bosses like Bebop and Rocksteady, tank Shredder and Ratking. it also misses the beat him up mode and soundtrack.

they remade the arcade version, instead of adding to the Snes version. imagine if Bionic commando rearmed did that.

game has fun moments, but this is just a disappointment. maybe we can get the missing stuff from the PSN some day.

  • I must say that the old one looks much better. And propably is better too.

  • i downloaded this thinking it was a remake of the snes version and was pissed when i found out there was no technodrome. and when you fight tonka and razor on the pirate ship? wtf is that? thats bebop and rocksteadys level.

  • sadly they remade the Arcade version (witch i dint even knew excisted until reaching level 4)

i really looked forward playing a ''special edition'' of one of my fav Snes games. like Bionic commando rearmed was. sadly i feel like i got alot less.

  • This suck

  • winners dont use drugs

  • One thing I don't get about this is why are they using the voice overs from the 03 cartoon?

Sheesh, they may as well have made the turtles, the Foot Ninjas, April, Shredder and everyone else look like they did in the 03 cartoon.

  • Fuck man, why fix something if it isn't broken? They could of at least put the original game for download then this poo

  • THIS IS GODDAMN FALSE ADVERTISING; the music in this shit remake is nothing like the original and they're missing stages that were in classic version; which means NO TECHNODROME, NO SLASH, NO PIRATE SHIPS SHOOTING ON UR BOAT, NO RAT KING, OH AND NO SUPER SHREDDER

i saw someone play this and it felt like when someone first told me santa isn't real(well at least not the one that would touch me at night); WAY to piss on my childhood.

  • This version of Turtles in Time is a remake of the Arcade version, not the SNES. The Arcade version didn't have the technodrome level or Rat king and other things. In my opinion the remake is pretty much the same has the Arcade version, I like the 3D environment. The music sucks ass though compared to the SNES/Arcade version.

  • true, i kno where ur coming from but damn i grew up luving the SNES version; honestly i never played the arcade version but i just luved the SNES version; i guess its a bit biased
