  • im 18 and i remember this so well hahaha.

  • wow...what a trip down memory lane! Huge thanks to whoever put this up :D

  • Huge thanks to whoever found this clip. I've been looking for it for ages as everytime I have needed to teach the unit to small kiddies, across the world, about healthy eating, I find myself recalling and singing this dittie. It was a favourite of mine as a kid and can't wait to share it now with mu new class.

  • Best ad! Loved this when I was little!

  • Im 19 and i remember these

  • Wasn't just Perth… we had this in Adelaide as well. I can still recite most of the lyrics

  • Kool. Thanks!

  • Poor vitamin K, he never gets any credit :(

  • haha this one was my favourite, on a nice day I always bust out with "get out in the sunshine and get pleanty of me..." and so on!

  • Everyone I know who saw this ad as a kid can still sing the song. They were such effective advertising.

  • This is what we should be delivering to kids nowadays...

  • good shiet!

  • I swear D is a lil fruity.... "Get out in thhhh sthunshine!" lol been lookin for these community announcements for ages.

  • i live in melbourne

  • Vitamin A is SCARY

  • @disclord vitamin C Is Scaryer

  • They still played these in the early 90s. Australia was stuck in the late 70s for a long time...

  • Hahaha this is awesome! I'm 31 and I remember seeing this a million times after primary school every day. I've been telling my gf about this but said she doesn't know it. I'm from Perth and now live in qld. Wasn't this shown in qld? Thanks for the video mate!

  • PERTH ROCKS.

  • 30, more like 40 and down. I think these were first released around 81

  • this was on in adelaide too around that time.

sun is out today and this ad came to mind "get out in the sunshine, etc"

    gold!

  • Hey I know this ad and I'm only 21 geez

  • @ScottyW89 yeah, most people still don't know these were re-circulated in 1999.

  • nice ad

  • nice ad

  • OMG i loved this add .. i was singing it to my kids few weeks ago ... lol now i can show em lol

  • loved these too.also from adelaide.trying to find the wasting water add."ther d be no green trees, buzzy buzzy bees" etc.

  • We had this in Adelaide too, I love it

  • These were really clever, fun, quality announcements the folk at Channel 9 Perth made. My generation all still remembers fondly the words to these songs. With all the carry on thse days about banning this and that from children's viewing times, maybe we can instead educate kids through FUN messages like this to get kids to use their own judgement about making healthy choices. Geez, we are so serious these days.

  • Thank you SO much.

You have almost the whole series, except my favourite, which was banned for being too scary, We're All Around and Gonna Get Ya!

"Swimming pools, we're gonna drown ya". "Power points, we're gonna zap ya". "Knives, we're gonna cut ya".

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you have access to this one upload it.

    Cheers greatly appreciated.

From the other side of the world.

  • No chance, unless someone has it on video. I spoke with some rude woman from Channel 9 who told me they don't lend out their tapes, and the National Film and Sound Archive doesn't have these ads either.

  • Oh yeah, I remember those other ads ("Power points, we're gonna zap ya"). Surely someone can find these ones!!??? That "don't eat dirt" advert really got to me as a kid and I always remembered to wash my hands and not "eat dirt"!!! :-)

  • where the hell was Kerry?

  • Awesome! I used to think this ad was Australia wide until I moved over east and no one had heard of it. I used to sing it to my wife who is from newcastle and she thought I was crazy

  • I grew up in Adelaide & we had these ads

  • we had these ads in Regional Victoria too on the TV8 and Six networks.

  • That has made my decade! So so brilliant, I knew all the words second time around (again). ACE!

  • Man I remember this from not even 10 years ago.

  • Absolutely AWESOME. Some 25-27 years on and I was still singing along (in my head for fear of the people around me sending for the men in white).

Does anyone have a link to ..... "dingalings do stupid things, they don't think of others at all, they're dopes and bullys with the trouble they bring, that's what we call dingalings........"

  • I saw this on an LSD trip

  • A looks like a crack head

  • what. the. fuck.

  • This is good, but what about the Christian Television Network ads that used to play on Channel 7 at around the same time?

  • its a great song i really like it

  • Pure Gold!! Thanks for putting them up! They really should air these again. They're not ads, they're bloody art :-)

  • Ha! That's awesome! I haven't seen this in way too long. Thanks for sharing!

  • "A" looks kinda vicious

  • cant find the teeth one. Spew.

  • Oh man does anyone have the "Teeth" one? That is also a beauty

  • take a lot of meeesus.

    Legend!

Now find the KESAB advert with the kid falling on broken bottles and screaming!

  • Have loved these ads for years. It's sad, but me and a mate try and sing and remember them when we're p1ssed sometimes.

Thanks for posting - you da man

  • I have been searching for these videos ever since youtube was created.

    Scottcongdon, you're the man.

  • HAHAHA!!! that's great, my god i remember that ad like it was yesterday. They should play it on TV today!

  • Thanks so much! I've been waiting years to see this!

  • I remember this!! Channel 9 in Adelaide also showed this one a lot during whatever C'mon Kids was called before it was C'mon Kids (I forget that but I remember the Vitamin ad ... go figure!)

  • i think it was called the channel niners before C'Mon Kids.

i cant believe this is on here. i have been dying to see this ad again. none of my friends believe me that this ever existed!!

  • My absolute fav of the bunch! Love it and can still sing along some 25 years later :)
