Whats the point behind this? Not being critical, i dont know what this game is and why it is being hailed so much. Just seems like another platformer??
It's mostly due to the ability to completely craft your own levels, customise your character, play with friends, etc. Sure, the actual gameplay mechanics aren't that new, but the creation tools are great.

I wonder, if you can make anything, is it possible to create a living, breathing, moving character? like really complex enemies in levels or bosses? I will figure out a way when I get this game. this is the year for PS3, no offense to the 360, it is a good machine too. I just think we are finally going to some really good games coming out for the PS3. possibilities are endless for LBP.
Half an hour ago, I wasn't too sure what LittleBigPlanet was. Now, I'm psyched to play it. The game looks awesome, and with the amount of level customization and sharing available, it's lined up to be the best platformer ever.
Now I just need to save up for my PS3... Hopefully I'll get one sometime in January.

lol, two controllers. You're able to have 4 players on one level at the same time, and you can mix online & local, which means you can have you and a freind on your console, and play with two other freinds 400miles away on the same level.
