I have a 1973 100w JMP Master Lead Mk2 and I swear, on 4 it will make your ears bleed!!  No wonder it's *the* most sought after amp in history!

Stock. The thing is, it's insanely loud, hence - the gain. :)

Let's just be glad that it has individual preamp and power amp volume controls. More gain at lower volumes.

im 16 and i was lucky enuff to have gotten it for xmas last year, mine is from 83' and its a 2203. best sounding amp, now just need a better cab :) lol need a marshall cab, looking at gettin a jcm900 cab or should i wate and save for a 1960 ?
