just an FYI not trying to sound like a snob but if u have the wheel pointing to the left when u have ur left foot forward i feel like its easier to trackstand and you dont move as much u should try it out
You could use whats called a Vertical Dropout chain Tensioner. It cost anywhere from 10 to 50 bux. Just get a cheap one for now because does the same thing and costs less. The more expensive ones cost more but they weigh less and have different features that are not really necessary.
yea i was thinking of that but it wont stop my wheel from sliding forward plus anytime i slow my legs it will just push the tensioner out of the way...
yea it is a problem i dont actually have proper track dropouts so the wheel does tend to scooch forward after a while it is nnoying but i have tried almost everything... if you have anyideas i would love to hear them
its a 42-16 yea i cant really do many tricks with it though im too afarid i might break something (rims are garbage) i never really thought about my track stands being backwards they prolly are thoguh
lol i first learned on a free wheel so i was decent at it at first but going from that to a fixie iw really weird becuse there is no movement when you back pedal of a free hub so that will take some getting use to all it is is practice it will come to you eventually
Nice! You got some good ballance. I was showing off for a bunch of chicks in a convertable at a stop light and I fell over. My feet were stuck in the pedals and I flopped around on the street as they laughed!
lol oh damn that would suck... hmmz if i fell i would probably start laughing histarically at myself and see if anyone had it on film. i know girls made everything complcated

@shuthefucup
those dont work with fixed gear hubs.

A lot of slack in your chain might be dangerous.

hahaha man
i thought you were going to do something..
dope though, that looks like a pretty small ratio, what is it?
and your trackstands are like, backwards from everyone's. Most turn the wheel toward their front foot.
not that it's a bad thing, haha.

Gah, I wish I could trackstand. I'm all over the place and end up either going forwards or backwards.
