I loved "Truth or Consequences"! LOL@ the Flintstones...my dad was just like Fred and my brother's and I thought that was hysterical! Loved Carol Burnett too. I graduated in 79, so I have a few years on ya. WKRP was a riot! Blessings, Ang
I know that for me, the best way to watch tv is to wait for the reruns. I didn't really get into a few shows until I could watch them everyday right after the news. It is just so much easier to fall in love with the characters when you get to see them more often.
That's a good point. I think for me it's more because I couldn't always watch tv at the time some shows were on and if you are only on once a week at say 8:30 then your audience is limited but when you are on 5 days a week and at all different times on different channels, well it's easier to find a time to watch it. :)
My son and I quote Office Space lines all the time. Once we were in line at Wal-Mart and just spouting off quotes from Office Space, Zoolander and some South Park and everyone around us was like WTH are they saying?!?! lol
I loved the Carol Burnette so much. More so when it was in reruns just because it was on either Friday or Saturday night and this girl had to go roller disco on weekend nights! lol
Sue all those shows you mentioned were just great. About watching shows when they are in reruns, that's what I did with That 70's show. I didn't watch it when it was on but I caught it in reruns and that show is a hoot and is one of my favorite all time shows now. I graduated in the 70's and those people on that show were from my generation. haha. Hugs girl!
Well my last year of HS I was only there 3 hours in the mornings and I had enough credits I could have graduated in January but I just waited to graduate in June with everyone else. The thing is, most of them thought I had moved or something because I was in the AVC part of the school and not in regular classes so at graduation 90% of them were like "where have you been!" lol So I feel like the 79-80 school year was my last year. :)
You are welcome! :) I thought of so many afterward but it would be like 20 videos! haha I forgot shows like Barney Miller, Fish, Knots Landing, Dallas, M*A*S*H, Brady Bunch, The Partridge Family and....well it's a long list. lol
Luv all those same shows. I still have not seen all of Friends or Scrubs. Do you like the Big Bang Theroy?..it comes on before How I met Your Mother. HUgZ!
You HAVE to watch Big Bang Theory. The characters are so funny. It is my current favorite sit com. Record a few episodes and watch them in a row. There's no way you can watch a few and not fall in love with Sheldon!!!
hmmm, I watched a lot of those shows too! Funny, but Friends was just about into reruns when I stared watching it too! I loved that show.. Did you ever watch "30 Something?" I used to love that show! I haven' thought of that show in years!!! LOL I think it was on BEFORE Friends! LOL (showing my age now) :D You didn't digress too much! haha

My stapler... I need my stapler!
The Addams Family and The Munsters were on in prime time in the 60s and early 70s as were Get Smart and Gilligans Island.
I identify equally with the 70s and 80s and didnt graduate till '87. I have 40 of 50 episodes of Carol Burnett on VHS, love that show!

I've never seen the Big Bang Theory. We usually just record all the shows we like on the dvr and watch them when we want. lol
