  • amazing

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

  • these are so great! i have been listening for three days straight!

  • He sounds so lost...

  • methinks its just keith and bobby keys?

  • Extremely beautiful. Keith's singing reminds me of Engelbert Humperdinck's, but much more romantic.

  • I've always hated the song, but Keith made me enjoy it for the first time.

  • thankyou xx

  • this makes me think the world spins too fast, all i want to do is crawl into a little humble forest and stay there in peace.

  • Very very nice.........

  • This is probably the coolest thing I've ever heard.

  • sweet.....thanks for the tune love this

  • is that keith himself on the keyboards?))

  • Where did you get this stuff? It's priceless.

  • @rahzel101 I scour blogs and bootleg sites a lot.

  • what's the name of this type of music?

  • @1920-1940 cabaret style music,

  • Probably Bobby Keys on the sax...love this version of one of my all time favorite songs.

Kieth does play piano. I sat with him in Chicago and he got up and played piano while I talked to Ron Wood.

  • Probably Bobby Keys on the sax...love this version of one of my all time favorite songs.

  • Who's on the piano?

  • @quikfax Never mind, just saw it was Ian. Reading is your friend...

  • Wow. Thanks for posting. Never heard this before.

  • wow i findsomething new everyday! :) thanks for posting!

  • Where can I buy this on cd, have tried Amazon and Play and even a google search??

  • @jujumatt You can't buy it, or at least you shouldn't be able to, as its never been released. Head to my blog, there's a link on my profile, you can download it there.

  • @johnny576375 Thanks very much.

  • i think is bobby keis who plays the sax

  • @helenapwf I would guess at Bobby Keyes. Couldn't say for sure Keith played with so many people but Bobby was his friend so it is likely.

  • what happened to his other bootlegs? like half of them got deleted :(

somewhere over the rainbow those songs are lost forever. dam copyrights.

  • @helenapwf

it was made in tornonto after keith's major heroin bust in 1977.

this was recorded in a hotel room.

Bobby Keys is the sax on this one

If you liked this one check out "the nearness of you/ send me back home"

  • i would truly love to learn how to play piano with this much feeling

  • @helenapwf Probably Bobby Keys?

  • keith's voice is so sad here, a beautiful rendition

  • Yes

  • Thank you for this, I love Keith singing anything but I especilly like the songs you never hear him sing, the standards. I wish he would break dow and make a solo album of him singing all the standards, they are so unique.

  • Ernie Watts on sax & Ian Stewart on key's ...

  • where can i find this bootleg?

    thanks for the upload

  • Hell, I actually masturbated to it.

  • @MrGrevy A lil too much information there. :)

  • Keef's excellent riposte to England's punk rock scene in 1977. They should have put this at the tail end of the 'Some Girls' album in '78.

  • My oh my !! is it possible that I love Keith to death since I'm 15 and I don't lose my faith in him, every week I discover a new track of him and it's more unbelievable time after time !! I'm french, thanx god some of us know about the blues and the Stones and the jazz and Charlie :)

  • @AnitaNellcote Yes, Keef knows all about " Charlie "too!!

  • Very Cool

  • Awesome, this made my day. Keith showing off his musicianship, Mick Taylor fans take note, Keith is the man! But I think taylor is great, but keith's the soul of the stones.

  • Our lovely Keith made me cry before....this makes me bawl. His sweet choirboy voice and innocent swingy piano style just absolutely get to me. Tears of joy. Thank you so much for posting this.

  • @helenapwf

sounds like Bobby Keys, Keef's buddy and stones session man - on Brown Sugar et al

  • Beautiful! Thank You....

  • listen LA MAGIA DEL SAX by Minicillo

  • This was recorded after he got busted with Anita because she had a burnt spoon and just a little! heroin? in her purse that was found in customs going into Canada .Keith thought this was the end that he was going to prison forever.

  • @noflintstone It was a bit of heroin, but a lot more coke.In the US,it would have been a lot of mandatory time, and the end of the Stones. In Canada, the weight was enough for a trafficking charge, but both the prosecutor and the judge believed Keith's story that it was for personal use.Sentenced him to do a concert for a school for the blind. They got the Stones. The Stones never forgot. They rehearsed and started tours in Toronto for years.

  • What a treasure.

I love Keith even more now!

    Thank you so much.

  • I actually like the grainy, distant sound quality this recording has to it. It makes it sound like I'm listening to something recorded in the 1930s. Like I'm listening to, oh I don't know, an old Robert Johnson record perhaps?

  • I get completely what you're saying about sounding like an old Robert Johnson

    record. I hear it.

  • I know what you mean, good quality but at the same time not so good, distant vocals i know what you mean and i agree completley

  • Yeah...we all should hear a bit of Lo-F♪

    now and then.

  • Thank you for this.

    Hauntingly beautiful.

  • Beautiful! What a perfectly talented man. I love Keith in so many ways, for so many things!

  • This is just fantastic and truly made my night. Thanks for sharing !
