Was watching Mary with Bill McCue on New Year's morning in a old video recording of a Hogmanay Show with the fiddlers in the Music Hall Aberdeen 1997. Looked out the video ,because we were so fed up with this years tv programes!!

What a charming song, and beautifully performed!

In searching for more of Mary's performances, I was surprised to find what a broad range of styles she has, and the interestingly different paths she pursued.

In addition to this performance, another amazingly beautiful performance of hers is "Nighneagan Oga", a Scottish Gaelic translation of Mozart's aria ''Voi Che Sapete'' from his opera "Le nozze di Figaro". It is so good, I'm surprised she didn't pursue a career strictly in opera.
