It is a .40 S&W which is not generally the best round for a 1911 design. I have not had any failures to fire, but I have had some failures to return fully into battery in the early stages of owning the weapon. However the most issues are related to the stock mags for the 2011. They really need to be tuned mags. However the pistol has run extremely well and reliable. Again the mags are the weak link.

140mm magazine holds 17 rounds
170mm magazine holds 22 rounds
