  • You're doing a great job, but slow it down a little...

  • My main aim with the pole dancing is to lose weight and tone up, but most of all just have fun, there are so many different pole types, and i want one installed in my home, just wondering which you think would be best for me?x

  • @bethieboo100 the x pole

  • YAY! I've done about 6 classes now, and I know ALL those moves! :D this makes me incredibly happy

  • @peasoupman well done you! Keep it up! :) x

  • As well, you cannot forget there are various routines out there for beginners. I'm sure not every single move learned can be incorporated into a single dance routine. I'm doing pole dance classes as well, and knowing a wide variety of moves all incorporated in different routines is a lot more fun I find!

I've gotta say, this girl was very nice to watch. True dedication and practice was very representative, and that's most impressive.

  • @RonQE 'Hooker heels'? I dance both barefoot & in heels and I even considered dancing in my skate shoes for a hip hop style pole routine. Whatever looks better is what the dancer/performer feels confortable in. Calling them 'hooker heels' may scare people away from trying heels! Personally I find dancing in my shoes rescues the skin on my feet and also helps improve my posture! I have also tried dancing in regular high heels and they just aren't right! 'Hooker heels' are ideal and mine are sick!

  • Great job

  • She's hot, looks great while dancing, still is a bit awkward when she shakes her hips though. :p

  • I think this might be a little intimidating for a beginner. The moves seems very fast and erratic. Also, I don't think anyone, beginner or professional should jump at the pole to climb it. I think this could be better as a freestyle dance session, but not as a routine.

  • Lol I just bought a pole and judging by the bitching going on by the women on every one of these pole clips I don't think I'll be going to any classes! Seriously WTF? Thought it was supposed to be fun!

  • @chuckpiez Don't listen to internet drama. People tend to be very negative. Going to a pole dancing class is much safer then learning at home. A progressive and structured class will help you build the right muscles, keep you safe, and give you a place to have fun at. Do your research and make sure the studio you want to attend is safe, clean, and the instructors are capable, supportive, caring, and competent. Best of luck to you. :)

  • No offence but this really sucks. We learned soo much more in a first pole class and we were taught to not look like a spaz.

  • @HidingInDarkness I think the problem is, that there is no real dance element to this video. It should be structured and fluid. No jumping and flailing around. I think the dancer in the video could benefit from trying different forms of dance. Knowledge from other dance methods can really build upon each other for a beautiful and polished look, on or off the pole.

  • Thankfully she's not wearing hooker heels! Much better barefoot.

  • wow you make it look soo easy! :)

  • all i cn hear is her body rubbing against the metal as she slided down. it goes SQUEAKKKK.. O.o

  • oh my..this looks extremely hard...

  • i got my beginners exam tomorrow , we've learned firemen , kneecurve , flashands , basic kate hands up , split pole positions , split pole step , seated split , take five , ladies sit , frog split hands , basic kate split hands , flamengo , vertical climb and monkey climb , the climbs are very hard for me but the turns are not , when we move to advanced i have to climb otherwise i can't ne in advanced , and to hotstuff , we don't do this only to be sexy!!!!!

  • I just purchased a pole two days ago, i was thinking of exchanging it for a spinning pole, but after seeing you i have changed my mind.

  • Hey I just started with some classes and i would like to know if this makes you loose weight because i really want to, and in how much time?

  • @maytepretty Yes it does... in about a month you will notice a difference, then it will progress! Dont give up, you'll get there! :) xxx

  • Great start.. :-)

  • ok you look like your just dancing your not being sexy

  • it's a great routine with basic begginer moves. With 1 or 2 months of practice you can pull that of. And it's very creative too! (considering the moves she does)

  • Is this video on faster than than normal? The dancer seems like she's rushing through it. For beginner dancers to view this, it seems a bit intimidating because she flies through the tricks and moves very fast. Perhaps slow things down and make it look achievable for beginners?

  • all you did was do most of the moves over and over.

  • i learned much more in my beginners class a few years ago and now according to my friends I'm a certified stripper but your video helped me remember certain moves i haven't used in awhile thank you for sharing

    xoxo

    sami

  • I'm a part time go go dancer (not stripper: is illegal in my state to dance topless and/or nude), and I found these videos very useful when is time to come up with new moves but nothing beats on the job training!

  • verey nice but hink u should slo dwn just a pinch but very good

  • shes good but she needs to slow down

  • I'm kindda disappointed in that video,.. I'm a beginner pole dancer. She's done only a couple of moves that I have learned... like the fireman.. She was dancing, not pole dancing... She was dancing around, undulated her body against the pole and the floor... I'm at my second class.. and I've learned : Fireman, Martini, Back and front Hook, Sunwheel, the crab and the 360 so far. still 4 classes to go in the beginner course. This was not representative.

  • @klarine90 maybe she had a different teacher in which case, it's not her fault if she hasn't learned what you have yet.

  • @froggymicwop

Thank you Froggymicwop! All classes are different and yes I teach a lot more than that in the beginner section, around 20 different moves and spins, but this video is just an example of the kind of things people would learn,.. i dont want to scare people off before they try! lol. :) x

  • There is a lot of dance in the routine, but that is so important to learn grace. If you don't have grace while you transition you will look like a brick on a pole. I see what you are saying, but learning all those spins in one class (especially your 1st class) will make most students sick or lead to a visit to the Dr's office because of vertigo. A lot of times those students will not return. Very curious to know how your next class went. I hope you reply soon.

  • @klarine90 agreed. I dont even take calsses my sister has a pole (non rotating) used for working out. and I can do alot of cool things. anyone can dance?

  • @klarine90 where do u take ur classes???

  • I think she is too fast, but this is good.

  • Sweet yet sensual and athletic. Nice job.

  • omg where can I get one of those poles?!

  • Haha she moves like a trea or sum

  • to make it more real...wear some heals next time. I felt like I was watching a high school song girl routine.

  • you are amazing at dancing these videos are awesome thanks for all the ideas cant wait until im half as good

  • that very good!

  • wow luv that :D an reminded me so much of dirty dancing because of the music lol :DD good job^^

  • I liked it, but it was really fast.

  • she is very light but not as fluid as a lot of other pole dancers. She also needs to point her feet to complete her line.

  • very classy :]

whats the name of the song?

  • very nice

  • most viewers fail to appreciate the obvious fact that an Xperienced aerialArTist would B somewhat pressed to put into motion the "moves" of a near "beginner", konsidering routines R committed to memory then reproduced as such

  • beautiful

  • not bad, a little stiff, but good to start with!

  • @froggielvralwayz have you got a pole video we can watch that would be better then?

  • looks veyr young. hmm O_o

  • sooo aglu

  • haha now in heels...

  • I think she is really good!! I also saw her advanced one..shes is simple and looks good and keeps it classy and has a GREAT body! you are all haters!!

  • Thanks hun! :) x

  • iLove that song...The Temptations are the shit!

  • agreed x

  • wuz up wit that song ?

  • That is really impressive! I'm taking a class ASAP!

  • Thank you! :) x

  • lol wow she /\/\ade that look so easy

  • doesn't that hurt your foot haha

  • i think i could do it without taking classes ;)

  • think it is a fab routine, for beginners, brill for breaking down to teach, as it covers all basic spins. awesome.

  • I think the dancer is great. You might think all the pole dancers got to do a trick like Super Man? The dancer mentioned this is indicated for beginners. This is helpful for beginners and a person like me too. I've been doing pole dancing for a quite a bit, but I still need to come back to basic to review how to do spinning, transitions and stuff as I tend to forget them. Reckon her choice of music was good too.

  • It wasn't even a direct reference to the moves if you read my post again. It's the fact that the dancer herself looks completely bored by her own routine. When someone is dancing well, they make it look great not just by moves but by their attitude. If you're just emptily going through the moves, you're not going to be interesting to watch.

  • thedickens - have you ANY idea how patronising you sound? From your comments, you're obviously an Olympic gymnast. Most of the rest of us aren't, and prefer to learn a little more slowly and safely. That doesn't matter if you're enjoying it, getting fit and having fun.

  • Actually I am a gymnast. AND I have a few not overweight but out of shape friends, who also took pole lessons with me, who can go upside down and are almost better than me. i dont know what pole lessons YOU guys are taking, but the ones we took were far more intense.

  • if that's after lessons then I would rather learn myself, you're too stiff. it's a great routine and your really good, but you don't look natural, or into it. I started a month ago and every move you had I learned in a week.... after 6 weeks I'm learning invert, sounds like a waste of money for these lessons if thats what your offering after six. Sorry, but this doesn't do it for me.

  • You could only learn things like that in a week if you were already a dancer or something else. A person of normal fitness or no fitness at all would not be able to do this in a week (that would be 3 sessions only). Plus you'd be over straining your body if you tried to do all this in one week. But as you're such an expert you'd know that...right?

  • Also may I add in just SIX weeks you should not be doing any inverts due to the muscles in your legs not being strong enough to take your full body weight unless you're a body builder and work the tread mill this is strongly not advised until your body gains it's gradual strength in your muscles.

  • you really must have jello legs then. Because my leg muscles have ALWAYS been very strong. The ONLY thing i was saying, is she looks so basic for something that you spend 6-10 weeks on. I dont know about you but i've never had a problem lifting myself, and why dont you just ask my not-so-fit friends how they did in that class? some are better than me.

  • You're a gymnast that says everything to me

  • haha i was doin inverts in 6 weeks, im in a advanced class and i have only been doin it 14 weeks, so in just 6 weeks if u can go hard and do wat u want, only you know what ur limits r!!!

  • I like the choice of music :)

  • Nice routine!!!! and the music matches it well too!! 4 starts!!! <3

  • NEED TO LET BODY MOVE A LIL MORE

  • looks good! i*m going to learn it....

  • wcale nie tak fajnie...

  • the song i the background.....its by the primes and the primettes....my stepdad listens to music like that all the time! lolz i cant believe i recognize it!

  • wonderful routine..perfect music. Pole dancing is a great workout......and this example is fabulous! thanks for sharing!

  • Interesting choice in music

  • I started pole dance few months ago and had to take couple months break, I miss it SO much especially after seing this video. Hope to get back to it soon.

  • wow! That is really good.

  • awesome vid!!

  • i wanna be a pole dancer :D

  • i want 2 be pole dancer..... -sob - sob =) :)

  • like they would realli be playing this at a pole dancing placr

  • Nice O-o You don't look like a beginner...

  • i want to be a pole dancer!!

    lol

    that would be great!

  • So if it were a spinning pole.. would that have been bad? Are those considered cheating in pole dancing?

  • No - they are just as difficult

  • Comment removed

  • Some people think that, but after having tried that myself the spinning poles require a lot more strength because of the g force, that's just my opinion.

    Spinning pole looks fantastic.

  • Great music! I love going to class...pure fun...and what a workout! Love the video!

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks, but honest, its not a spinning pole, its Bolted to the floor and ceiling, lol! :) x

  • Comment removed

  • obviously it's not a spinning pole. you can tell.

  • Thats a sping pole but idc it amazing!! xxx

  • i liked this video :)

    im bored on cam X6

  • i just want to know do your hands hurt a lot ive just started pole dancing and mine hurt all the time

  • this wasn't a spinny pole? how did you spin around it so easily?

  • No it wasnt spinning, you just have to practise lots and get the pressure right to spin. xxx

  • i think ur routine is great!!! i love the music and i like the moves-they fit perfectly!!^^

and it's refreshing to see a happy routine without all those slow and sexy moves(sure..it looks sexy as well..but not in that way..u know what i mean)..

so keep doing it that way-maybe i'll try that song, too^^

    looks good alltogether!

  • how long did it take you to learn everything that you are able to do

  • I've been dancing on and off for about 8years, but most of what you see here really came in the the last year or so when i've been practicing and teaching a lot more. xx

  • brill the music did suit it great if a little slower so i could learn it but fab

  • How do you manage to spin so well without the spinning poles? I'm just starting to take pole lessons and I find it hard to spin WITH spinning poles, not enough arm muscles I think... do you do weights / train your arms as well as this?

  • More than anything it just takes lots of practice. You can do some weight training on your arms if you wanr, but I never did, just working on the pole so much was enough to build up my upper body. When u get used to it and a bit more strength you can actually use your hands/arms to pull yourself around the pole. Hope this helps!!! xxx

  • too fast need to slow down,it is possible to move to the music alittle more sensual,my advice, would to be know the music listen at least 120 times close eyes and imagine what you are going to do this will help your brain move the body,if you dont believe me ask any dancer sometimes w dont have space to practice so you run through rotine in your head it does help i promise

  • your overall style is fine but the music didnt suit you and your move ments could have been smoother to jolty, dont know how long you have been doing for but need to feel music not just spinning roung pole, talking from exsperience ,try listening to the music, and close your eyes to imagine your routine then try i used to listen 9/10 times before using music for a show, know your music when it goes up and down choose some thing not to fst but that you can move sensually

  • wow

  • you got got great expression in your moves, and choice of music, everything about ya. you dance really well, and perform almost like a gymnast, not just pole dancer, any chance you were one? i used to do gymnastics, but it was so long ago i lost it all somehow, lol. well time and 3 kids later:) keep on rockin out the vids girl!

  • Thank you very much! I did basic gym as a kid, but thats about it. :) I've got quite a few mothers that come to my class and do very well, i'm sure you'll do/are doing very well! :) (not sure if you're pole dancing yet or not)

    xxx
