I went to Ohrid to stay with a friend two years ago, and as an English guy I didn't know what to expect. I can honestly say it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. The water is clean and warm, the architecture is stunning, the beer is cheap, the Rakia is strong, the food is great and the people are friendly and helpful. It is only a matter of time before Ohrid is on the tourist map and people are flying there by Easyjet and completely ruining it!

I've been to this place in fyrom. It's not beautiful at all. It's full of poverty, unemployment, thieves, and the most of the population saying they are from Bulgarian stock and Albanian.

I went to Ohrid to stay with a friend two years ago, and as an English guy I didn't know what to expect. I can honestly say it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. The water is clean and warm, the architecture is stunning, the beer is cheap, the Rakia is strong, the food is great and the people are friendly and helpful. It is only a matter of time before Ohrid is on the tourist map and people are flying there by Easyjet and completely ruining it!

I've been to this place in fyrom. It's not beautiful at all. It's full of poverty, unemployment, thieves, and the most of the population saying they are from Bulgarian stock and Albanian.
They are not Macedonian only because they are Slavs which is what the majority believe in. The rest of the Slavs in fyrom are just gipsies wanting to be Macedonian.

But Maced.and Achaia were not one state-and you know it very well: Maced.was a kingdom and Achaia was bunch of City States-Polis? THe Macedonian Army structure was different than the Achaian ones.The Language was different also.
