Hey dacey! I just wanted to know if you are switching from a big university to a smaller one. and would you say that going to a prestigious university is important? I'm about to choose my university and I don't want to make a decision on what school is more prestigious even if it means that they bell curve and maintain their students gap very low

@Msbeeutfull Hey there! The university I'm switching to is a tad bit smaller! That's not the main reason I chose, but I can say that I am actually looking forward to the smaller classes! I don't think going to a prestigious university is a bad thing! It definitely has some perks! I think the main thing is to not make that the one deciding factor! If you genuinely like the school and what is has to offer, but it happens to be on the more prestigious side, then that's great!

you're so right, dacey. i went to a college because my boyfriend at the time went there. BAD idea. we ended up breaking up my sophomore year and i was MI-SER-ABLE.

This video would be so useful for seniors! I only wish it had been around 2 years ago for me! Haha. Although I am happy at the university I attend, there are definitely some things I should have looked into more. I think another important thing to consider when choosing where to go is the amount/breadth of courses that are offered. In freshman year (before I transferred to where I am now) there were probably only 40 courses offered at the entire campus! Wish I'd known that before applying!

I am a junior is college right now and I think there are a lot of factors included in picking the "right" college. First, I would say do your research! look at everything: prices, majors, sports, dorms, etc. Dont just pick a school because it looks fun! Also, you may want think about how far you want to be from your family and friends. Dont be too stressed out about your major, most people end up changing it at some point (including me!)

I think the best thing to do is go visit the college!

@daceycouture well... its complicated haha. i signed up to go through rush for my first two years & on the first day of each I had a very close family member pass away on the first day of rush causing me to have to go home and not go through the process. because of that i feel like maybe im not meant to go greek? but its still a possibility for me because im looking at informal spring recruitment right now.
