This is my first time listaning to Hannah Fury. This song honestly isn't my cup of tea but something about her voice and the beautiful instrumental for this song makes me want to look up more.

Absinthe has a mild licorice flavor. The flavor is more mild than Jagermeister liqour but not the alcohol content makes a hell of a hangover in the morn and the psychoactive was a label that was put on to deter people from getting it though if it was a knock off absinthe it might have had psychoactive features.
She has a truly beautiful and unique voice in upper register with that pure trembly vibrato ..... I've just worked out (sorry - little slow) - her songs are sought of hypnotic arn't they - it's that voice plus repeating piano patterns).
Is an alcohol that was previously banned as it was that strong and was nicknamed the Green Fairy as used to make people hallucinate and often saw fairies. Hope this helps.
@LilMissSammiee It is an alcohol. Absinthe is a wormwood(Artemisia absinthium) based alcohol... Which until more recently was rather difficult find in the US. Most of which is still not true Absinthe... I'm suddenly wishing I had a bottle...
