@Chynaash The song is upbeat because it is from Harry's point of view, not Serverus's point of view, so it should reflect Harry's voice. Besides, he is talking to his 11 year old son Albus Severus Potter and it would scare the hell out of the kid if it were edgy and dark, lol.

I think Snape isn't given the necessary importance in both the books and the movies... I was so suprised to find that Harry doesn't even think about the difference who Snape actually is and who he always thought him to be when he sees Snape's memories in the pensieve. He's only concerned for his death. I mean, he is right at that point but I would at least feel sorry for his terrible destiny. Am I the only person who thinks in that way? Maybe we should just ask JK Rowling!

Don't think I'm a jerk or anything, but the book would be boring and you wouldn't connect to the charys emotionally.

Thats why in the movie, if the charys die, then the audience will get a connection and CRY.

I so agree with you jaenuchiha. Why did she have to kill him! I always trusted Snape, right from the start he was my favorite character. And, even after reading the 6th book I still believed him. In the end, Snape is the true hero, not Harry! He sacrificed everything to protect Harry. And he never had happy moments in his life, except perhaps when he met Lily.

And the way he dies.... so unfair... so cruel!
