He didn't rough the kicker. He never even fell. OB won. If you even payed attention to the game whether they would've made it regardless, they cheated us out of 2 touchdowns. If ya would've paid attention to our season. 2nd and 34 and 3 and 22. We deserved to be their overcoming those amount of yards and winning. We deserved to win it. besides, any other teams are too pussy to put us on their schedule. Its' why we play out of state sometimes.

@trinity43957 Didn't cheat per se but the rules in Mississippi are iffy. 1) Any team should have the option to decline a penalty (such as any other level of football). 2) The official did not watch the kicker (that is his/her only job on field goal/PAT/punts).

I've watched the play over and over...he did not trip...he tackled the kicker and the white hat was watching the ball, NOT the kicker. There should have been a flag thrown and the kicker should have been allowed to kick a third time. There is no denying it! State championship tainted!

I am really not understanding what all the "cheating" discussions are about. MHSAA rules clearly state that encroachment is a dead ball foul. To anyone that has EVER watched football, that means the play is blown dead, regardless of the outcome of the play. The yardage is tacked on or taken away,and the down is repeated. Whether this went in OB's favor or not is irrelevant.Anyone that claims that OB "cheated" is, in essence, encouraging cheating by claiming that OB won by following the rules

Im talking about the holding penalty im talking about the pass to cowan in the right corner of the end zone that was called incomplete when it showed on the screen both feet were in bounds. Plus your running back wasn't called down, the rule is if the runner stops hit momentum at any point the play is stopped at that spot. That was your running backs fault

Yall got cheated out of a championship...........im guessing you didnt see the touchdown that was taken away from us that even on the big screen with the instant replay was clearly a touchdown. Or what about all the penalties that werent called against yall. There was many penalties that petal did right infront of the reffs that weren't called so I dont want to hear yall got cheated out of a championship

And then despite all that we made the kick then had to rekick because you guys messed up. Then on top of that you roughed the kicker!
