This guy is a really amazing rider (the best in a very long time). He won a championship with that crappy Ducati. Now we know it's crappy, because any of his previous teammates or even Valentino Rossi could be even close of what he achieved. Valentino won championships with good bikes (while Stoner was in Ducati), now Casey finnally have a good bike and nobody can beat him anymore (at least for the next few seasons).

Cheers for the comments. First off i am not one of these Stoner fans who takes every opportunity to have a dig at Rossi. I do however, feel there is no reasoning for the abuse Stoner gets from a fair majority of the Rossi camp. I have been a fan of Casey since his last year in 250's and it's really nice to see a rider like himself progress to becoming the world number one. When i say 'jealous Rossi fan', i mean it to that particular individual, no offence intended to the true racing fans. ms58.

@Sean77abc I'm a huge italian Rossi fan, and I'm sick of being compared to these idiots who don't understand anything about motorbike racing. Stoner is a hell of a rider without a doubt. Probably faster then Rossi on track and definitely the best this year; he deserves the championship! Obviously Rossi couldn't compete this year because of some mistakes, but I am a fan of him and I support him. But please, stop saying that people who have probably never ridden a morbike are "jealous Rossi fans"
