  • my grandma can do that

  • Thanks a lot!!!!

  • nice Idea but for this simple task you can use a calculator. A tip for you, use the shortcuts to copy things (strg + mouse) or (strg+c, v) ^^

  • Are you actually a Doctor??

  • Not a medical doctor but just a Professor with a Ph.D. Dr J

  • Sorry I knew that. I didn't quite ask the right question. What I was interested in was what is your Ph.D in?

  • thanx

  • very informative...

  • Can't I buikd a simulink model to compute the fourier series coefficients of a periodic square wave?

    Thanx

    -

  • The model will be more complicated involving multipliers and integrators if you use the mathematical definition of finding Fourier. coefficients. This example is just a demo showing that a periodic function consist of a whole bunch of sinusoids and may be use verify the Fourier calculation and signal bandwidth.

  • same question like Barragal...I cant find any Fourier-Block for simulink...

    thanks

  • There is no fourier block in Simulink or at least I'm not aware of. You can use the Spectrum Analyzer found in the Signal Processing Toolbox.

  • This is a recorded video using the zoom capabilities of Camtasia from Techsmith. Hope this helps! Dr J

  • 1. I get a buzz every time I press the "play" button, why

    2. I get the same graph as you do, but when I try to do the zoom, it doesn't look like yours. How can I make it look the same way?

    congratulations for your video!

  • from where we can download matlab software anyone can tell me plz?

  • Dude the legal way is to purchase a student license. But IDK if that's what you are looking for. The student version isn't bad and not too expensive although as a college student myself money is always an issue. Good Luck

  • Matlab does not have a function as far as I know. The purpose of this exercise is to check the calculation of the fourier coefficients were performed correctly. When I have time, I plan to put a video together for other functions: pulse, triangle, sawtooth, etc.

  • Fuckin awsome! But does matlab have a function, that can tell me, what amplitudes and frequencies I need for "ANY"!given function!!!!??????? not just the simple square wave. Thanx!

  • Kiddoqart

thanks for watching and the advice...I'm started waling right for the last 3 weeks since it's starting to warm up at the high colorado mountains. John

  • great video. ure breathing kinda hard though, hit the gym!
