I instantly noticed that the dramtic music was familiar to me and by the end of the video I had identified it as from the movie "Zulu" which was the first movie Michael Caine appeared in. This music was very powerfull in the movie and added to the dangerous aspects of the trail ride. I am 62 and have not ridden a horse in 10 years. I miss it as I used to own my own western riding horses. These videos bring back fond memories for me. Thanks!
The only word i have for this is........... BREATHTAKING......... it is abosolutly gorgeous i would definately take my grey quarter horse mare there she is my baby and would do anything for me with just a little convincing if it involved water
I'm a trail guide with Windwalker Expeditions and I've ridden this trail a couple of times with Arabian endurance horses. It is awesome. Not everyone will want to ride a horse on this trail but it's well worth a hike and there are some great swimming holes to cool off in. Great video! I especially like the "over the edge" boot shot. We are going to subscribe to your channel. Thanks for sharing!
Anyone can ride the Bell Trail. It's a public trail that's used mostly for hiking, for obvious reasons, east of Sedona, Arizona. Just contact the Sedona Ranger Station to get the information.
This trail is truly inspiring. We have trails like this in the California pacific northwest. I would like to ride the Bell Trail. Our Kelsey Trail matches this for beauty and a test of the nerves.
There are definitely spots on this trail where if you make a small mistake, it would be your last. I prefer safer trails, myself. I don't really have the rock/mountain climbing mentality.
I have ridden trails a lot worse then this, on my Arabian mare. She is way too awesome. We are both older now and I will be riding her daughter who is 9. I don't know if I want to ride anymore trails like this one a real heart stopper for sure!
Absolutely breathtaking! We ride at the Kalama horse camp in Cougar, WA and it isn't as nearly as beautiful as this. Don't get me wrong. Its pretty up there but this is so different... Keep up with the videos. I love them.
Thank you for the nice comments. There will, indeed, be more trail riding videos to come. Donna, the one on the red roan paint that you see in many of the vids, is from WA. She's done a lot of riding up there, but tells us she likes this better. It is spectacular here. And no, we rarely see snakes, poisonous or non-poisonous due to the highe altitudes, 4-7,000 ft.

fun.

Obviously, I would have to disagree as I believe the music adds to the drama of that particular trail, as well as the lure of The West.

would have been really nice to watch the video with just the natural sounds of horseback riding and not the overly dramatic music

OMG excellent video, but I much rather take a mule/donkey, So many things can go on on a horse.
