Yes I do believe it is a spur. The video was taken in Palmer yard which is a hub for the trains to go to the following areas. South to Connecticut, east to Worcester and Boston. North to Barre, and west to Springfield. Where CSX went and droped the cars is for Mass Central to pick up but normally they leave the cars in the NECR yard and Mass Cent comes into the yard to get what they need. I have never seen anyone deliever to Mass Central like this. Have a good day.

why does the train pull back exactly at the one minute mark? did the conductor disconnect the air hose or something?

Conductor had to do some manual switching to get them into the right area for delivery.
