Other thing which is important here is that, the engine is same as used in Ferrari Formula One car in 1990, only its RPM is limited to 8,500 and BHP to 513. This maybe is the reason that this car is so fast from other road going sports cars. But the magic is at last broken by Porsche 997 Turbo S as for as acceleration is concerns.

lambo was not on full throttle. 100% sure, just look at the way it is overtaking other cars, very slow. Watch videos of LP640 going on autobahn and you will see it smoking the traffic and yet autobahn has a high speed pace we all know.

Honestly, most of these quarter mile times people post(although mostly irrelevant) for the F50 were taken in the 90s when tire technology was different. I'm guessing modern tires would make a considerable difference. Also, people keep ranting about the ZR1 vs F50 thing(haha). An F50 has 5.8lbs/hp and a ZR1 6.3lbs/hp. Just sayin :) and it's a Ferrari :)

To Elimvideos, This video wasn't shot on a freeway, that's the 241 Tollroad here in Orange County, CA. I've driven on that tollroad enough times to know that.
Don't forget that the F50 is all carbon fiber. Whereas the LP640 is not. Therefore the F50 does not need as much power to outperform the Lambo as evidenced when the F50 opened its taps in the video.
It's simple: The camera was in the LP640 but they wanted to film both cars. So it's only possible if the Ferrari is nearby or in front of the Lamborghini.^^
F50's are easily tunable upwards of 600-700hp. As standard it'd be close dogfight. The lambo is far heavier than the F50 though so if I'd to put money on a race...it'd be the F50.....

Well, my friend, accidents aren't always your own fault. I mean, you say you race around small streets... what if someone suddenly pulls out from their driveway in front of you? And, let me tell you one more thing. This happened to my dad some time ago.
He has a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro. A couple of months after he bought it, he was just driving along, when he saw a stupid ignorant kid in the middle of the road on his bike. Dad revved the engine, pressed the horn, to let the kid know he was there, but the idiot wouldn't budge. Dad just tried to overtake when safe, but when he did, the kid cut across in front of him.
Even at that cycling speed, dad just couldn't react in time to the idiot cutting in front, and he swerved off the road. Into a lamp-post. He was okay, as it was low speed, but the front of the car was wrecked.
Now, imagine the same thing happening to you, but racing around rather than driving responsibly like Dad. No chance! There probably would be deaths.
Just a cautionary tale, friend, but you do what you want. I'm just warning.
If I was your dad, I would be responsible and rather just exit the car and tell the kid to scram. Overtaking a idiotic biker has nothing to do with responsibility.
in racing you always look ahead, and know your surroundings, there have been many cases that would have ended up really bad but i looked and ahead and on either side and i prevented such an event, just know whats around you, thats why cases like your example wont happen to me

Yes, you're completely right...The LP is staying behind on purpose. I've test drove the F50 a while ago, and without a doubt the acceleration is great, but it definitely falls hands to the LP640, if the matter is power. Why do you think the lp pulled so much on the F50 towards the end of the video. But the F50 has something the LP will never have, and that's soul. The sound, the looks is just stunning. If I had the money, I would trade in my 360 coupe for the F50 in a heart beat...
I find the rear of te f50 almost perfect but I'm not too keen on the front. It sounds fantastic too. Given the choice I'd probably take the f40

it has 1180 hp and has a 6. 9 or so size engine.supercharged !!
and weighs 2700 lbs.
ferrari has a f50 gt that has 750 horsepower out of a 4.7 N/A engine . and it weighs in at a hair over 2000 pounds.

I'm pretty sure the license plate on the F50 says Ferrari/Maserati of Newport Beach...
I recognize the license plate instantly because a good friend of mine purchased a Nero/Nero 612 when he took delivery of it.. And saw the same design plate on it too..
And if I remember correctly, this is F50 S/N 104021 with approx. 3600 mi. on the odometer last time it in California ..

its like i always say its only dangerous if you dont know what your doing, ive been racing my evo around small streets, freeways, launching the car with cars on either side of me, driving in the middle of two cars on either side of me and ive never crashed, i know my limits and i know my cars limits, even when iam driving slow around a round about i will launch so i can drift around the car in the round about, its not the safiest thing i do but it sure isnt dangerous

Well, my friend, accidents aren't always your own fault. I mean, you say you race around small streets... what if someone suddenly pulls out from their driveway in front of you? What if some idiotic asshole is overtaking on a blind bend? What if there's a small child crossing the road without looking? At high speed you've got no chance. Boom.
You just don't know what's going to happen. And I'm saying all this in the nicest possible way, no agression.

And, let me tell you one more thing. This happened to my dad some time ago.
He has a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro. A couple of months after he bought it, he was just driving along, when he saw a stupid ignorant kid in the middle of the road on his bike. Dad revved the engine, pressed the horn, to let the kid know he was there, but the idiot wouldn't budge. Dad just tried to overtake when safe, but when he did, the kid cut across in front of him.

Even at that cycling speed, dad just couldn't react in time to the idiot cutting in front, and he swerved off the road. Into a lamp-post. He was okay, as it was low speed, but the front of the car was wrecked.
Now, imagine the same thing happening to you, but racing around rather than driving responsibly like Dad. No chance! There probably would be deaths.
Just a cautionary tale, friend, but you do what you want. I'm just warning.

in racing you always look ahead, and know your surroundings, there have been many cases that would have ended up really bad but i looked and ahead and on either side and i prevented such an event, just know whats around you, thats why cases like your example wont happen to me

Yes, you're completely right...The LP is staying behind on purpose. I've test drove the F50 a while ago, and without a doubt the acceleration is great, but it definitely falls hands to the LP640, if the matter is power. Why do you think the lp pulled so much on the F50 towards the end of the video. But the F50 has something the LP will never have, and that's soul. The sound, the looks is just stunning. If I had the money, I would trade in my 360 coupe for the F50 in a heart beat...
