I have even more respect for your talent now. Nearly every time I hear someone sing the anthem, they pause after each phrase, or hold a note uncalled for. Even more often, they add insult to injury and embellish it to death. It's a pet peeve of mine when a "singer" cannot *sing* our freaking anthem correctly. Major props for showing how it's done, Ernie.
And I'm with Miz - you need to come sing before an SF Giants game! =)

EXACTLY!!!! Everyone I KNOW feels that way about the National Anthem, but the koolaid drinkers only talk about the "celebrity slaughters"... go Ernie!!! You rock!
