  • to: my fucked up girlfriend

  • theres not a VEVO channel for VH???.... cool!!!

  • Dedicated to all the phony girls I ever met!

  • Damn good cover!!!!

  • Even incorrect grammar can't ruin Van Halen. And let's face it folks, if bad grammar can't ruin it, nothing can.

  • This goes out to my cheating and horrible person, who was my ex-wife!!!

  • everyone has someone they think about whilst playing/singing/listening to this. YOU'RE NO GOOOOOOOOOOD

  • Van Halen could do a cover of any Justin Bieber and make it rock out and sound 1,000s of times better.

  • 4 people are just no good

  • Killer bass playing in the intro by Michael Anthony and throughout the song!

  • Is it me or is this song incredibly heavy? this is my favorite cover of VH's!

  • @Bob12345678910423 why don't yu and yur redneck faggots fuk off yu give america a bad name

  • This goes out to my cheating girlfriend... glad we worked it out but this is her song still

  • People that think like that Myers bitch should be blindfolded, put in the trunk of a car, brought to the middle of Compton at night and let out with a sign over their head that says i'm a RACIST. I would get some popcorn ready & watch some shit like that, that would be awesome!!!

  • funny how the 2nd vh album starts out with bass

  • Van Halen 2 = legendary rock album that oozes SWAGGER by the gallon!

  • I love how they completely remade this song. It's so Van Halenized that people don't even care who sang it originally. Van Halen is the absolute best American rock band, ever. Ever.

  • @thisischavez so right, van halen do great covers, i know eddie isn't in to them like roth, but roth knows how good the outcome is when they redo it, and us fans appreciate that

  • @thisischavez Don't forget Aerosmith they should be up there, best American rock band Ever

  • @wsdasda. Sure. They can gladly have the #2 spot. LOL. Just listen to the solo in this song and ask yourself...can Aerosmith match that??!! Nah, I didn't think so either.....

  • @thisischavez They also redid the Kinks so well with Where Have all the Good Times Gone and You Really Got Me, the Kinks were attacked by younger fans for "ripping off" Van Halen and were complimented for doing "Van Halen songs" during Kinks concerts.

  • 2 seconds of this album SMOKES most any albums...

  • @frekijsimpson. So true.

  • Great swagger to this version. I always loved it as much as Rondstadt's version.

  • its 1984{i know this album isnt} anywayzzz ,its 1984 im walkin around with a boom box listening to the fat boys ,im wearing parachute pants and some friend turns me onto VH ! thank you man wherever you are!!!!!

  • AMAN Bucky,,, need a xanax and shit? :)

  • "You're no good"

    Grammar police strike again!

  • get reall this album rocks as did the first one

  • One classic bad-ass rock tune. Edward's solo is like a slashing razor, and vast enough to fill the galaxy.

  • I agree with bucky468 :/

  • This is dedicated to you Jessica Renee Eck

  • i don't like yngwie but all his licks are stolen from paganini, bach and mozart. not ed. his rock shit is stolen from blackmore and hendrix. he's a twat anyway! mind you ed is a bit of a twat nowadays.

  • @ericoulthwaite and he is very arrogant about himself

true he's fast but thats about it.

    EVH Rules

  • Amazing how Van Halen covers almost always surpassed the original songs!

  • @RAV52 not necessarily surpassed covers but how they make them sound like they're the ones who originally wrote it....i just realized today this was a cover...wow.

  • Ultimate Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah, guys like Yngwie Malmsteen got famous using Eddie's licks...just faster. Yng had super human speed but stole it all from Eddie!

  • @PaulChristopher001 never heard yngwie usin one of eds licks, at all hes just usin his technic

  • @CrazyEiche i love yngwie as a guitar player. he is incredible and very different from ed, but to be fair i have hear yngwie tap single string like ed, and i have heard him to volume swells ala "cathedral" but i agree that yngwie stands strong on his own and def is not a EVH clone like many were in the 80's

  • @PaulChristopher001 you mean Ritchie Blackmore,Uli Jon Roth and Rory Gallagher. Eddie was not a Yngwie influence...eddie is about as neo-classical in sound as Tommy Iommi.

  • excellent song

  • - Roth claimed he had never heard Ronstadt's (or anyone else's) version of this song before he recorded it; he just sang it like he thought sounded good.

    - This, not "Dance the Night Away", was supposed to be the album's hit single.

    - In concert, Eddie would turn his back to the audience during his solos to hide his hammer-on/pull-off technique, which was not well-known among rock guitarists of the time. As a result, many thought he was faking his solos, because "no one can play that fast".

  • @Spoxjox 'Cause he didnt want other guitarists stealing his technique?

  • @khuddle exactly! I even heard him bitch'n about it because as soon as it caught on EVERYBODY started doing it and ones like Yngwie Malmsteen then became famous because of it. Yng was good, fast as lightning, but got his licks from Eddie!

  • @Spoxjox yeah neal schon from journey was told to check out this new young hot guitar player at the starwood l.a. and thought hoe r u doing that u little shit?

  • That intro always gives me goosebumbs.

  • I dedicate this tasty little song to all those filthy sluts I banged in the 80's ---- nothing but money-grubbing whores who were lousy lays !!

  • @Hunkola Come on now--some of those chicks where pretty cool !!!

  • Yeah one of the best covers ever.

  • I just love the way EVH gets the guitar to mimic the chorus, almost like he's mocking it. Prolly a little trick he picked up from Jimmy Page, who did that with "Dazed and Confused" and "How Many More Times"

  • It's friggin impossible to say which one is my fav, another kick ass tune.

  • this is like the ultimate chorus of the 80's

  • Still amazes me DLR's amazing voice. How he hits those notes I'll never know.

  • Linda Ronstatd never coulda sang her own song this good.

  • SCREAM DAVE!!!!!!

  • ol skool.....yeah back in the day...so kool!!!!

  • I dedicate this to my soon to be X you really live this song

  • one person is no good

  • Love the nasty dirty solo by eddie in this one!!

  • Is it me or does Van Halen make every song they cover that much better?

  • @Thrashfan21 Better than Linda Rodnstadt (spelling?)

  • @dmarkj22 Absolutely!!!

  • @dmarkj22 Grammar Nazi MUCH?!?!?

  • Best version of this song.

  • This song is dedicated to every shitty artist from today. Yep I'm talking to you Justin Bieber, Jonas Bros, Lady CaCa, St!nk, Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Katy Perry. You're No Damn Good & you all suck so get out of the spotlight NOW!!!

  • @bucky468

you know, it's really fucking sad, that i can't even watch a van halen video without hearing something about just bieber. shut the fuck up.

  • @PeterCRissKISSgod Would you settle for Jordin Sparks, Kelly Clarkson or Selena Gomez?

  • @bucky468 dont you talk that way to T-Swift. jerk.

  • Comment removed

  • @powerfistify Well then (Taylor) needs to write much better songs instead of the soft rock/country/pop fluff she's doing now. "15" is something more for NKOTB or N'SUCK.

  • @bucky468 your not a real man till you have memorized Taylor Swift. i have so i can call myself a man and im proud of it. ya know why? cuz it picks me up chicks.

  • @powerfistify They just feel safe around you because they think you're a homosexual.

  • @MayhemSyndicateCEO funny man. except im not a homosexual, im sorry to dissapoint you and your sexual desires but i like woman, but i do know a couple guys that you would like

  • @bucky468 Hey! pink is good

  • @aaronius4444 Says who?!

Yeah! I like Pink...Pink Floyd that is.

    The other P!nk st!nks lol!!!

  • @bucky468 sink the pink

  • @bucky468 It's relative....people have different taste.

  • @bucky468 what are you... eleven?

  • @Bob12345678910423 Nice youtube name, fucking troll, be literate, stop talking like a nigger

  • @XzMyersX I'm from southern texas yah a-hole, I'm just an ole' cow girl in central Houston, and me an all my friends talk like dis. But I at least agree that niggers belong in Africa. I mean I don't hate them, but they should go back where they belong. America is the white peoples land, and it always has been.

  • @Bob12345678910423 Thumbs down to you pal.

  • @bucky468 "NOW!!!"=FAG!!!

  • Comment removed

  • holy shit Eddie is just fuckin amazing \m/

  • This is to all of my ex-girlfriends out there...go f*ck yourselves!

  • This song goes out to all the filthy sluts I banged in the 80's --- YOU'RE NO GOOD !!

  • van halen ..... when they were kool......!!!!!!

  • I love that signature backing vocals of Michael and Eddie. There's a certain "coolness" about this song....badass and cool at the same time.

  • The backing vocals of Mike and Ed were always terrific! Imagine VH without Mike? Oh, that's right, they ARE without him. Sorry, I won't say They're No Good-just not as good.

  • awesome van halen days.......so powerful!!!!!

  • Great song!! I have to dedicate this one too..to Tara :-)

  • GOOD OLD DAYS

  • @craky64 i remember standing down the road from the school grounds (because you couldn't smoke on school property), had an 8 track boom box leather jackets

very tight Jordashe jeans and girl friends with big hair, we would all gather before school. Those were the days indeed!

  • @broadfall WE must've went to the same school, I can still smell Aquanet

  • one of the meanest guitar solos I ever heard, comes in like a mean bastard.

  • Van Halen should do this with Linda Ronstadt on guest lead vocal on stage.

  • Brilliant version of the song! :D

  • This song is so cool, it has a kinda dark vibe to it. it rules!!!!!

  • Awesome song, album and Eddie's amazing solo.

  • One of my 2 top favorite Van Halen songs!

  • @harrybeast7899 Linda Rondstadt version is a cover of this song big guy. Look it up on the internet. The song was originally written before the 70's.

  • @LeBigMoneyShow Wasn't it Betty Everett that performed this song first in 1963 and was written by Clint Ballard, Jr?

  • Dave got some awesome screams in this song ---- he made VH legendary

  • That "OW" at 210 Sounds like someone crying out in pain over being hurt in a relationship.

  • intro is from ozzy - believer

  • I believe the title is "You're No Good!"

  • All-time favorite of mine!

  • great lp and song....when van halen was kool!!!!

  • I can never find this album

  • @hillyard61 You gotta find it! Good luck because it is the best!, ha?!!!!

  • my first CD when i was like...5. haha loved it! still love this band and im 22 now. thanks dad for growing me up on actual music!! :]

  • you misspelled "you're."

    FANTASTIC SONG!!

  • Hey how many of us lads know women who ain't no good, well I know a few from right here, you tell them Dave, don't come running back to me your no good.

  • Best VH song

  • @harrybeast7899 true, but I prefer it to the original.

  • Very rare these days for a band to consistently top its previous albums. From VHI to VH II to Women and Children to Fair Warning (skip diver down) to 1984. Then it stopped. But who else made it THAT far since then?

  • My Favorite Album!

  • Sorry guys, but some of ya can be no good too :D

  • the best!!

  • Van Halen2 - 38 mins of pure rock perfection. Bought it on day of release and still listening to it 20 years later. They never equalled it - probably the greatest rock album ever. So many bands today feel obliged to record 80 mins (Metallica et al) and end up boring everyone with loads of fillers, just because that's the size of a CD should listen to this gem. If any record ever proved the adage "less is more" then this one does it beautifully.

  • @gardenchair Are you talking smack about the 'Tallica? Yeah, their last album wasn't great (too much filler I agree).. but do you deny the greatness that was the 80s-early 90s?

  • @g00dz

No don't deny that at all. Metallica's 'black' album is one of the greatest rock albums ever, and always will be. 'Load' has its great moments as well. But St. Anger was so bad. If it was half as short, it would still be twice as long as it should be. I have not listened to any new Metallica since.

  • @gardenchair St. Anger was complete trash IMO, by far their worst album ever created. Their attempt at a stripped down sound failed horribly, especially without a valid bassist. Check out their newest album Death Magnetic, HUGE improvement from St. Anger with some glimpses of the glory days.

  • @g00dz ok, I will check it out!! it has to be better than St Anger which as you say was truly awful.

  • BRIDOGG19666 your ex-wife and my loser ex-husband should get together!

  • Comment removed

  • @nathankiseki09 What a waste of time. Let the brainwashed 16 year olds enjoy their garbage. Maybe when they grow up they'll understand.

  • @g00dz yeah man, i agree sorry

  • listen to me, i got somhintasay an i'ma say it so lissen up...

  • Listen to the live version in Fresno, '79. Eds tone is fucking killer

  • Need a hint?

  • this is an awesome cover!!!

  • I dedicate this song to my filthy ex-wife!! hahaha!

  • @BRIDOGG19666 me tooo!!!!!!!!

  • @BRIDOGG19666 hahha, good one man

  • @BRIDOGG19666 lol... I hear that brother suits mine as well.
