The main reason why the Quran stresses the fact that men will get virgin girls is because it more appealing to men than promising virgin men to women. That is a generalization. It is not that way in every household. It depends on the couple and their economic circumstances. It costs so much to have a family now, that many couples both work. Times have changed. It has not always been that way and is not that way in every home.

Paul said it, not YHWH and if you read the bible, you do see women who were prophets.. at least 7 of them & one of them Deborah who was also a ruler (Judge) over ISRAEL.. according to the laws given by YHWH were they to disobey or rebell against her or the priest, DEATH was the sentence. Paul's writings are contrary to the Scriptures. Everything in the bible is not the word of God. Some things are the words of MEN. Its clear when God is speaking. He never put women in an inferior position.

Noble Verse 14:24 "Seest thou not how Allah sets (daraba) forth a parable? -- A goodly Word Like a goodly tree, Whose root is firmly fixed, And its branches (reach) To the heavens". here daraba means give an example
"O ye who believe! When ye go abroad (darabtum) In the cause of Allah...(The Noble Quran, 4:94)"
here it means to go abroad
daraba has many meanings and especially when used as an expression of speech - pls get a new dictionary then -

Let us look at some of the verses from the Old Testament that allow polygamy:
In Exodus 21:10, a man can marry an infinite amount of women without any limits to how many he can marry.
In 2 Samuel 5:13; 1 Chronicles 3:1-9, 14:3, King David had six wives and numerous concubines.
In 1 Kings 11:3, King Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines.

I see that you have not STUDIED the bible, but pulled out random scriptures to make it appear that it was okay. As someone who STUDIES this, I can tell you that it was absolutely AGAINST THE LAWS GIVEN BY YHWH to the Israelite Kings to have Harems. Solomon turnes away from his YHWH and was given over to the IDOLATRY of his foreign wives. The law of God NEVER endorsed but FORBID this practice. The Prophet (pbuh) said, "The best believers are the best in conduct, and the best of you are those who are best to their wives."
There are so many more quotes of the prophet as well as Quranic versus that emphasis the importance of women. in islam the women is responsible to pay the whole bills to supposrt the family ( not like the west the wife pay half and the husband half) the husabnd is 100 % responsible. if the women is rich and the husband poor is she gave him something it is considered chaarity, but he opposite si abligation, so the women has the right to not give him any thing from her many if she wants....hopefully i was clear. if you did not get let me know

That is a generalization. It is not that way in every household. It depends on the couple and their economic circumstances. It costs so much to have a family now, that many couples both work. Times have changed. It has not always been that way and is not that way in every home.

A muslim man can divorce his wife by saying "I divorce you" three times. He gets all material goods and the children. She gets nothing.

Excellent, enlightening! Too bad Christians do not care what the bible says (its like a joke to them).... they pick and choose what they wish from the bible.... they only follow their hearts desires, lucky them (sarcasm), while muslims have to abide by their scripture to the letter.
