A book that helped me and my girlfriend out earlier on in our relationship was as i'm sure you've heard about before, but it's Dr. Gary Chapman's "The five love languages." It's really good for people having trouble communicating.
Hey Brett, you just spoke at our church in Waterdown about a week ago and I really enjoy the topic you bring about in this...as one who has been dating the pastor's daughter (uh oh) at the church for the past 3 years I feel like I may be one of the lucky ones when it comes to constant councilling...but even in my situation there is a need for accountability and constant growth. There is a lot of pressure in Christian relationships and there is much to learn by everyone.
