dude...texas lost the game that i said they would. i am not a texas fan or a bama fan. so you know what i really dont care about last years NC game anymore. so go tell somebody else how good texas is. cause this year they arent gonna be playing in a bowl game anybody cares about. nobody is gonna be betting big money on texas cause they are probabaly gonna be playing southern miss or somebody. and im worried about picking the winners of championship weekend not last years NC game.

@rastaman24211 Texas played way better pass offenses than Bama did all year and that was evidenced by Bama's pitiful pass offense in the title game! McCelroy with his "broken ribs" (reported after the game to counter people saying if colt was in things would have been different) couldnt handle our speed off the edge (8 sacks on like 17 drop backs) and your receivers even the "freak" Julio Jones wasn't fast enough or man enough to handle the simple 1 on 1 man coverage UT was playing.

Disagree all you want too, Brackens was spectactular over a three year period, Orakpo never put together a full season until his last. Nothing against Sakpo, but Tony was nfl ready after his junior year, not after a 5th year, and he started as a frosh.

Its safe to say that Texas has not had a CB or a DE like Bryant and Tony since they left. Guys that followed them may have won major awards (Ross,Huff and Orakpo) but as far as having a consistently solid career at Texas, these men were better overall. They were flat out nasty.

Huff and Michael Griffin were stars from their sophomore season and on, and both have excelled in the NFL, those two guys were the only two guys who helped vince win the rose bowl in 05. griffin with his tip-toe int in the endzone and huff with his 4th and one stop on lunchpale white.
