This is a good song, with a mix of their old stuff and a little bit of innovation, this song gives me hope that the album will be good.

On the other hand, I really hope Month of May doesn't make it to the album and remains a bad B-side, because I don't want that song to contaminate a good album.

I "like" the song... but I just hope they have something really original in the bank waiting to explode on that new album in august. For me, that sounds like a mix of old The Cure (on their happy side) and Elliot Smith... and I just wish they wouldn't sound like anything. I mean... I like the grandiose aspect of them, what can I say. Bring back the choirs and church organs! :)

everyones going on about how this doesnt grab you, but do tracks like une anee sans lumiere or seven kettles do that? what i mean is that their albums are a mixture of powerful and more low key tracks, and i think this isthe best understated song they have done, which suggests the more epic ones are going to be even better than the likes of wake up and intervention since thats always what they did best.

Both of these songs are just ok. They're certainly AF songs and not necessarily bland but..yeah, I'm not feeling the same 'drive' as in Rebellion or Black Waves. But then again, I feel like I often don't like the first released tracks of a new album as much as other songs so..definitely still hopeful.

If you look at the lyrics, I think this about the characters from some of the songs in Funeral (Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels), etc.), later in their lives. If this song represents the album as a whole, the album is going to be awesome. Can't wait to finally see these guys at the Osheaga Festival
