This film is amazing. The best part of it is relating character to people you have meet in life. I know a really creepy photography student whom wanted to date me. He was exactly like the creepy art collector. If you have studied art or have been around these types of people I'm sure you will be falling out of your chair laughing.

Ya, I figured they were making fun, but maybe some homage to people that feel passion for what they consider art. It should be a fun film.

They're "poking fun" at it in the same way that a black comedian pokes fun at black people. He's still black, still proud of it. He's just making a joke. The composer who scored the film, David Lang, is very big in the avant-garde/new music world. They're also not pretentious. All of his works are bleeding with substance.
