I got Z8870. Power brush is really easy to brake. Here in finland they say that i have to buy a new brush head for it! ( about 150€) The drive belt is totally too weak in it. Cannot find same belt as sparepart, I made some modification for brush to get it back to work. Don´t buy it with bowerbrush it is waste of money. As vacuum cleaner it is really qiuet and powerful.
@viihdevaltias The model Z8870 with power head is not on sale here. So I can't tell you something about the power head. If you don't impreatively need the power head, I would recommend you to buy the standard brush (carpet and hard-floor) which cost about 50€, and to use the power head only on floor where it is really necessary. With the high power of this modell the standard brush does a very good job. If you need more info. let me know
@vintagehoover I still love it. It is really one of the best vacuum I bought the last 15 years and I prefer this one to Miele. Until now, I didn't had any problem.
@Eluxfan71 I bought one a week ago now: Special edition with both standard and air powered floor brush. Quieter and more comfortable to use than my Miele Cat & Dog, which i still like though.
@vintagehoover it's a great vacuum, but my power brush broke down for the third time in about 6 months that I have it. I acctually came upon this video while looking for disassembly instructions, since the rapairman is kinda douche =)
I notice that's the standard floor head in use on the carpet. Does it come as standard along with the electrobrush? AEG's website show this model as only having the electrobrush in the comparison chart.
You'll be surprised at how much this vacuum cleaner sucks.

@tubezoid This model has only standard brush, it is not sold in every country. Here we have more bare floors. The model Z8870 is with electrobrush.

The Quietest vacuum should be the electrolux ultra silencer. in sweden we have model ZUS3960,3920,3930 and ZUS3900 green.

We have almost the same vacuum here in sweden. But it names Z8870 and has a motorbrush.
