take me for instance. i love listening to metallica and the whos and so on. but i still love minimal tech because you dont LISTEN to minimal, you FEEL it. and i'd rather dance to one of these tunes then to some pop-dance shit they play on discos nowadays.

Although i have slightly revised my opinion, after a recent visit to Berlin, where real techno (with minimal in there) was playing i actually really enjoyed it, and "felt" it as well - i suppose i was benchmarking it against Trance from a lesser year - as maturity progresses, i find a more minimal beat quite appealing!

@arkanearkane Your kidding me right. Goa is definitely not hard, minimal, I would have to say you need a lot more creativity. But Dubstep is the hardest, you spend hours on one sound. Ive been making beats and getting paid for it for over 10 years now, and until I tried making dubstep everything was easy.
