  • he says, "All you need is scissors, paper, scotch tape, wire tape, tinfoil, cardboard, ruler, and protractor."

i notice items left out of that list are fingernail clippers and having seen a vagina...

  • lol i wonder why you can't spend extra $10 for a real one while you spent $2000 for that lens already

  • Great i like the multi function bounce

  • jellin of your camera

  • Wow. This is awesome. I would just buy an external flash... but alas... my camera is a point and shoot and has no hot shoe. has a pop up flash that this will work well on. Just need to figure out how you made it from the video... directions would be great!

  • im going to try this.. its hard to see how its made but i got a lot of cardboard =) what material you use for the white parts? sorry for the english ;)

  • nice lens!

  • Or you could use the flash exposure compensation setting.....

  • good job mate

  • now thats creative

  • good job with the music;)

  • Genial!!!!!!!!!!!!! great work.

  • Great video! I appreciate the fact that you show examples and pictures upclose (not on cam/live).

  • I made it.. Yay.. but not as good as this one.. but works fine..

  • buy an Canon 580ex external flash problems solved :-)

  • who the hell need a refelctor for the pop up? by the way this is uneffektiv why? because for every shoot the flash needs full power and maniel settings because this big chung of cardboard spils this little amount of light everywhere!

  • That is a gazillion times better than the Gary Fong puffer.

  • uhmm thats cool, So how do I make it ?

  • Nice Gucci wallet..

  • super..

  • wow how gay is that flash your canikon off then waste my time with some poo tune my watch dont count as i did not watch i made this comm in sted

  • Nice tutorial. THat is a beast of a lens, want it so bad! :)

  • LOVE the song! What is it?

  • Coooooool! :)

  • Rreally wish you would have made a tutorial, reverse engineering this diffuser (best I've seen anywhere) is harder than I thought!

  • great observation and idea, but you have to admit it - won't really work for something serious - recycling time is too long on small flashes like that, plus the extra power spent in the diffusion, forget it. taking a series of shots and telling people to wait is not going to cut it But fun to play around for sure:))

  • dude nice lens

  • that shit is ugly but it works.

  • Make me one too!

  • i tape a white peice of printer paper over the flash then itl still go down and up, or usecan use different tint paper of types of paper

  • pls show how to make that 2 in 1, really need to know for me to afford that cool stuff...thanks so much :)

  • nice lens and funky music

  • sweet!! gotta try that!

  • Yo bro that is REALLY COOL......could you make a vide on how u made it?

  • I'd like to see it too :D

  • nice job :)

  • Great tool you made there:)

but if you were to turn down the power of the pop-up flash, you wouldn't get blown out whites on your shots:)

  • the 70-200f/4 L is not as gud as the f/2.8 IS L but its is half the price of the 2.8. (still not as supreme as the nikon 70-200 vr II f2.8 N(nano crystal coating

  • lol you have a 70-200mm lense but your making a ghetto diffuser?

  • hahahaha thats true

  • He spent all his money on the lens

I wish I had that lens also :(

  • @shrukered its the f4 cheapo version

  • maybe he only want to show good working diy stuff to people who can't afford expensive equipment!ever thought of this possibilty?

even if he spend all his money on this lens, its a good investment and probably his next acquistion is a speedlight.we all have to start from zero and i dont know many people who bought all of their equipment at the first day.

if you can, its good for you, i cant and i really appreciate videos like this one.

  • I'm in love with that lens!Unfortunetly the L-Series is way to expensive for me :(

  • This is kick ass man...great job thanks a million...:)

  • Nice vid, which camera lins is that?

  • great, great gadget! I will create similar, for me. Many thanks! :)

  • WOw. Great Video. But I can't believe you left us hanging with not tutorial. lol

  • I sorta just planned it on the spot. It is really easy if you know some geometry. Anyways, I don't use it anymore, got myself a 430exII.

  • I just ordered my 430exII. Did you get/make a diffuser for that? If so which one?

  • 1:19 the diffuser

  • Comment removed

  • 0:43 No flash, 1:06 flash, 2:03 diffuse, 3:21 Bounced

  • Wow...mazin

  • First of all, I'd like to say that the music was just kick-ass awesome.

Second, I made a tiny little 1"x1" bounce card out of tin foil, tape, and Cardstock earlier today, and it works wonders...indoors. It also works well for indoor Macro work.

I'm working on a design for outdoor use that may or may not include a mutilated Gatorade bottle.. ^^

  • sorry i don' t have a tutorial. I made it to see if my pictures would turn out better with a flash -- helps me decide whether or not I should buy an external flash, which I eventually did.

  • is there any way you can make a tutorial on how to make that? I'm a long way off from purchasing a 580ex and would like something for the time being...Thanks :)

  • Hey! that's a very cool pop-up flash diffuser, do you have a tutorial about how to do it? I don't want something very detailed, I only would like to know which materials did you used.

    Thanks!

  • Extremely cool. Tho I was hoping you were going to show a how-to video, or a link to a site giving people a walk-thru on how to make one.

I'm sure you put a lot of thought into making that, and if you were into making another one and sharing that with the rest of us, I'm sure we'd all be very grateful.

  • wow that really makes a difference :D

    nice work !

  • nice :)
